A few days ago we mentioned that the Activision/Blizzard merger would create redundancies somewhere in the newly-formed company. Today we learned that some of those redundancies will hit Vivendi employees in the UK.
The branch to be hit is a team that, among other things, oversees Sierra games, and it is rumoured that a number of the titles under this label may be axed as a result.
However, the Blizzard team in Paris have been spared and no job losses have taken place there.
