We wrote an article a few days ago about Athene, the player who claims to have leveled a character from 1 to 70 in under 2 days. Well now he’s released the first installment on how he did it.
Called “Athene: behind the scenes - #1: powerlvl like a pro”, the tongue-in-cheek movie mainly features Athene hitting back at the people who say he somehow faked his record-breaking leveling time. He then goes on to rubbish one of the existing and well known leveling guides, and provides some “useful” tips of his own on how to follow in his footsteps.
Be warned, it’s definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK, as it features frequent swearing, but if you don’t mind that then it’s worth a watch for the pure comedy value. See it below, or catch it on WoWTV, where you can rate it appropriately.
the “you are a noob and you are jaelous” part. how else could you have such strong feelings for a ACTOR who you dont know who PLAYS the ROLE of some strange guy playing too much WoW ? you are realy getting over the top with this insulting trip you are on…
wtf. he didn’t give any real tip. all he said was
"don’t waste time," "don’t travel on road," "don’t die," and "don’t loot" to save time. WTF?
He also said something about how to tag mobs and get exp without making the kill on his own at the end.
P.S. For real tip on how to power level, try stock piling potions, twinking the new alt with enchanted BoE, and giving them tons of gold so they don’t need to loot for repair cost. It doesn’t hurt to be a balance druid and get a lvl 70 druid to follow you around because double Innervate and free heal is the winner.
