IncGamers’ Tamer Asfahani, and our own Maticus were sent to the midnight launch of Wrath of the Lich King, as you may well know, and while there, they had a chance for some long chats with Blizzard’s Chief Operating Officer, Paul Sams, and WoW Associate Producer Lee Sparks. These interviews will be available over at our game portal IncGamers.com sometime later today, but they did post a highlight from the interview with Paul Sams:
In an interview, which will go live sometime today, Paul Sams commented on the new MMO and why there hasn’t been any news since its confirmation.
“We haven’t shared it publicly because when we do, we want to have a definite idea about what that gameplay experience is going to be.”
After pushing for an answer on whether or not we could expect to see the new game on the console, Sams said “that it would be a natural thought for people to have that that would be the ‘next level’, but I don’t think that should be the assumption because I think there is a lot more that can be done on a PC.”
