Blizzard’s New HQ - A Look Inside

Posted 11th Mar 2008 03:41 PM by Rushster

The Orange County Register has a new article online which looks at Blizzard’s spanking new HQ which is a considerable step-up from their old setup. Worth a look if you want to see what the hallowed ground is like.

In related news, we are actually at Blizzard’s new HQ this week. Leord flew out last Saturday to take part in Blizzard’s first RTS summit for StarCraft II. We expect some sort of report from him shortly if he can drag himself away from StarCraft II. He has already posted bits and pieces up on our StarCraft site so keep an eye on that over the next 24 hours if StarCraft II is a game you’re watching.

I’m confused…..Only the WOW site moved back to the old name?

The incgamers site is still operational for other games?

I like it  I guess they did kind of outgrow their own headquaters, especially when they dismantled Blizzard North and brought most of its staff down into what was Blizzard HQ. I remember back when they were still making Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos that they actually had been sharing the old building with a completely seperate company, they have grown massively in the last six years alone.

Heck, just reading the article by OMO when he visited prior to WoW’s launch alone would show how much they’ve grown, when one compares it to this article.

By the by..

The new buildings sit behind a guarded entrance, a feature missing from the old location

Gee… I wonder why they did that.
