BlizzCon Named Top Games Event

Posted 27th Aug 2008 01:46 AM by Maticus

BlizzCon has been named on VGPC.com as one of the seven Games Conventions people should visit before they kick the bucket. The other venues on the list were

  • The Tokyo Game Show
  • E3 (Pre 2007)
  • Penny Arcade Expo
  • California Extreme
  • GC Leipzig

Considering most of the other games conventions cover titles from all platforms, BlizzCon has done well to get onto the list as it only covers three titles of PC games - Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. However, I wonder how many of the other conventions sold out as quickly as BlizzCon did this year…?

"I wonder how many of the other conventions sold out as quickly as BlizzCon did this year…? "

None.  BlizzCon tickets sold out in 15 minutes, that has never happened before in history of gaming convention of that size.
