Readers of the Warcraft comic were told to expect some “twists and surprises” in the storyline before the expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, is released. The panel, talking at the recent Comic Con, were also keen to stress how much the Lich King storyline will overlap the comic’s one. This follows other news from the event which we covered yesterday, about some cool WoW models on display there.
Speaking of the models, crowds gathered at the event were also shown a slideshow by DC Unlimited of the WoW models coming soon, which did indeed feature the ones we’ve already spoken about, but there will also be a Tuskar, a limided edition of Lady Vashj and… drum roll…. Murlocs! Yes, there will in fact be a pack of two of our favorite WoW beasties for players to collect.
Lastly, it was confirmed that there are no less than fourteen Warcraft books on their way to us, and the makers of the WoW comics are also teaming up with Blizzard to do a comic on the origins of Ashbringer, as that storyline will feature heavily in the expansion! So all in all, a good time ahead for Lore fans!
