‘R’ - Return notification, used in those quests where the quest is returned to some other NPC than the original quest giver.

‘(D)’ - Dungeon Quest, which in most cases mean that this part of the quest is completed inside the dungeon instance, and in most cases is not soloable.


‘(Daily)’ - Marks a quest that can be repeated as a daily quest.


‘*’ - Parallel follow-up marker, deprecated. Probably removed in future versions.


‘[xx,xx]’ or ‘xx,xx’ - Coordinate pairs used to mark the spots on in-game map. You need a 3rd party addon to see the map coordinates in-game. I used MapCoords 0.32 during the beta.
