Bornakk announced the following free character moves:

The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available on Thursday, July 10 at 12:00PM PDT, and are scheduled to run until Thursday, July 17 at 12:00PM PDT.
In the event that these realms meet our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. No characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.

The Public Test Realm was taken down for a client update again last night, so it’s still not quite ready for release:

Lastly, Traxilion tipped me off that Amazon is showing the Lich King sale date as November 3rd 2008. As we’ve said before, dates shown on sites such as this are only estimates by the retailers, and are usually wrong.
About Amazon though - in my personal opinion, that means the game will be out around that time or after, judging by what happened with TBC.
