Gombol’s Tanking Guide - Talents

Posted 9th Jan 2009 03:11 PM by Maticus

imageNow that the expansion has been out a while and things are starting to settle down, players are getting their talents nailed down. In the first of many guides we have planned for the coming months, we present Gombol's Warrior Tanking Guide - Talents.

This is the first of Gombol's tanking articles, so check it out in our Warrior Guide forum now and be sure to look out for the next instalment which will focus on getting the right gear.

Here's an excerpt, see the full guide here.

Maybe you just hit 80 and are re-speccing, maybe you've been raiding as arms or fury, or maybe just finishing Northrend and wanting to go straight into heroics or raids. Now, before we get into the good, solid tanking spec let's take a quick glance down the trees and point out some alluring talents to avoid.

Just as a note, my browser (Mozilla Firefox) has flagged this site as a suspected attack site.  Until I turned off the tool to block suspected attack sites I was unable to log into here to comment or to log into the forums either.  Just a word of caution.  You may want to contact google as the filter seems to run through them.  Hope all is well and good luck.

Whether it is just a bug or not, they should fix it.

Thanks guys, we have an ongoing issue with Google & Firefox reporting this as an attack site. Hoping to get this removed asap. There is nothing to worry about however, anything dodgy sets alarm bells ringing instantly here at worldofwar HQ, and any low lifes who try to log our keys are sent packing within moments.

These warnings are handy for users, as well as those of us who run websites as a back up security measure if needed. I just wish they were as quick to remove the warnings as they are to whack them up raspberry

Firefox is very slow and can produce false/Positives on websites.  I know the IT place where I work, we are constantly in communication with the Firefox devs to get this type of stuff fixed asap.

Firefox is still the safest Browser to use.

Gombol,

Firefox can be slow with updates and produces false positives for suspected attack sites.  Some Legit sites ultimately slip through as a False positives.
