As you saw yesterday, we're building loot lists of all the bosses in Northrend instances for you to peruse at your leisure, but we need players like you to gather that info for us, and it couldn't be easier to help out.
Our very own database, WoWDigger, provides the links and info for the loot lists we post, so to help us make sure we have all the very latest items, spells, gathering profession spawn locations etc. just download the client! If you haven't done so already, simply register, then click the download client link from the drop down list on Digger's front page.
Make sure the client is running while you play (it will appear in your list of addons, and a message will show when you log on), and it will silently gather info in the background. When you've finished playing, hit the WoWDigger shortcut on your desktop and all the data you've collected will upload, including details on all your characters. This means you can then see your characters in Digger and create wish lists for future outfits, play around with talent trees, generate forum signatures, check out the contents of your bags, and much more.
If you have a guild website, or any other site that you'd like to have WoW item links appear on, we can make that happen too, see our webmaster tools page.
If you'd like to help our community even further, you can upload in-game shots of items, comment on quest lines, and most importantly - spread the word! The more people using the client, the better information we can supply you with.
WoWDigger is still a young database, so many quests and items are yet to have comments or pictures. Why not be the first? Your comments and pics are featured on the front page, so everyone can see you've been doing your bit for the worldofwar.net community.
Feedback is also important; for us to provide you with the best possible service, we need to know features that you'd like to see, or improvements that can be made to existing utilities. Post in the WoWDigger support forum with any feedback you have, we do appreciate constructive criticism
