How Is Your Blizzard Knowledge?

We have reported on Blizzard’s cancelled games before, as well as some of the games they have done in the past. Lost Vikings (the three Lost Vikings are making an appearance in Uldaman, near Annora, the Enchanter trainer) and Rock n’ Roll Racing might be games that you have heard about before, but may or may not have associated with Blizzard. Well, there are more! And, well, there is a reason you haven’t heard of them before, as they never grew to be big titles.

Hooked Gamers have an interesting blog entry about the 8 different IPs that Blizzard have released games for:

Originally founded in 1991 by Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham and Frank Pearce as Silicon & Synapse, Blizzard originally focused on ports for other systems for other companies. They didn’t begin developing their own games until the release of RPM Racing for the SNES. The company only found modest success until the release of their breakthough hit, Warcraft. Blizzard now has some of the most widely recognized IPs in the world. We’ll begin with RPM Racing and see how well each new game sold and led to sequels.
