Korean Band Member Gets a WoW Makeover

Posted 16th Apr 2008 02:24 PM by Maticus

A member of Korean girl group So Nyeo Shi Dae has received the WoW treatment, as revealed on the official forums by a random poster earlier today. Kim Hyo Yeon, noted for her dancing skill in particular, has appeared in a doctored Blizzard wallpaper, entitled Hyork, as seen below.

Why she was picked out of all the celebrities in the world, I don’t know, but hopefully this will spawn many other pictures of a similar vein. I can think of so many already….

Why a Korean celeb?
Should be obvious, I mean, the S. Koreans practically worship Blizzard for all intents and purposes. Doing nice things for your followers tends to make them even more loyal.

Plus, she’s probably one of the hottest commodities on the S. Korean market right now, so it would make even more sense. Think of it, as using the Spice Girls at the height of their popularity or Britney. No different really.

As for her make-over.
Personally don’t see what’s unappealing about it, but then again tastes differ.

I think… its a little bit to masculine if you ask me. But then again she is supposed to be a female Orc.
