The GAPP approved operation of the Burning Crusade back in February 2010, and NetEase was confident to submit the Wrath of the LIch King expansion as soon as possible. According to the JLM Pacific Epoch, the GAPP responded to the press that NetEase has not yet submitted an application to get Wrath of the Lich King expansion approvals to operate in China.
Arguably, the Wrath of the Lich King might need much more editing than the Burning Crusade with all the Undead content, bones and other things which might violate the GAPP codes.
