New 1-70 Record

Posted 20th Mar 2008 10:27 PM by Rushster

There seems to be a bit of battle going on for who can get to level 70 quickest and you’ve probably checked out Athene’s video and guide posted earlier. However it looks like his original record has been beaten by Tosog on the server EU-Kil’Jaeden who has managed it in 1 day 4 hours and 28 minutes with his Tauren Druid (See update below for the latest record). The proof shot is here and there has also been a video posted…

The guys on our German sister site Worldofwar.de also pinned down Tosog to ask him a few questions about the record and if your German is good you can read that on this page.

Update: Yes this has already been broken since this was posted. 1 day, 2 hours and 31 minutes is the new record. This was acheived by Mineva (Stormscale-EU) and the well known Athene. So who’s next? Any takers?

The tag and kill by a raid following you was done from 60-70 in 28 hours when the patch was out.

Now they claim do do 1-70 in 26 hours…

Definitely not solo and very likely an exploit. We are talking over 300 000 xp per hour. And if half of that time was spend in Outland we are talking even more than that. Unrested too…as fast as these records happen, they are not parking their toon for a week to get rested.

I probaby spend 26 hour travelling between questgivers while levelling ^^

But I really WANT to believe it can be done wink  I mean, if these guys can do it in 26 hours, I can get it done in a couple days /played, right?

The problem is, I still actually enjoy the quests, getting new gear, saving up some money, etc.  Major parts of the game are lost to me if I play through this quickly.
