Check these out: Below are shots of the NEW models for the Vrykul! They looked pretty good in the Alpha (see left), but Blizzard have outdone themselves with these new models. If these characters look this good, what else can we expect from the beta? Those are actual veins in his arms, and look at the detail on the face. The female characters are amazing also.
The Vrykul are the evil giants that occupy Howling Fjord and the first instance most players will tackle once at Northrend, Utgarde Keep.
Next, remember the two new factions Blizzard mentioned, the Oracles and the Wolvar? The Wolvar are wolverine-type creatures, and the Oracles are like “evolved” Murlocs. You can ally with one or the other in the Northrend zone Sholaza Basin, but once you’ve completed all the quests for one faction, you can swap sides and do all the quests for the others too. This is very different to the current “Either / Or” factions we have now like Aldor / Scryer.

Lastly, Check out the new Eastern Plaguelands map, which includes the new DK area. This is the “After” map, the one players entering Eastern Plaguelands will see. The map we showed earlier today was the “Before” map, (Before you destroy the area as a Death Knight):
