Taken directly from http://www.blizzard.com/us/ we are told that if we recruit a friend we will receive a new Zhevra mount, Extra experience when grouped with said friend, and also the ability to summon from anywhere:

[BLUE=“http://www.blizzard.com/us/”]Earn an Exclusive Zhevra Mount with the New Recruit-a-Friend! With the new Recruit-A-Friend program you can earn an exclusive Zhevra mount, receive a FREE month of game time, and gain access to other exciting in-game benefits. From the moment your friend creates a character and starts playing you’ll both earn triple the experience when grouped together and have the ability to summon one another from anywhere in the world. Also, for every two levels of experience your friend earns, they can grant one level of experience to one of your lower-level characters. To start recruiting your friends click here. Well if they were just a bunch of money grabbing buisness types they would throw a beta entry into the deal.  Tons of people would buy the game just to get the beta…..hell I should work in marketing…recruit a new account with a 6 month sub and get into the beta.

To me this just screams "FOWL!" I mean, come on Blizzard. If they were REALLY pushing for everyone to level up for WotLK, the exp bonus and the level of experience to a "lower-level character", which I’m guessing - as more of a joke than anything, don’t quote me on this - will end at level 20, this wouldn’t simply be a Recruit-A-Friend benefit. This just seems to me that they want money even more money than their already 10 mill x 15 a month, which I’m still wondering where most of that goes to, definantly not the creativity department (I’ve been known on my server to bash the looks of armor sets whenever I get bored. :D)  This is a stretch, too, but I wouldn’t exactly be surprised if this came about as a Warhammer fear, as well. Since Warhammer has announced a release date and all that, Blizz wants to gain people and KEEP their people.
