[QUOTE=Dalixam;4153426]Shadowlore, you’re right. What I meant was that you pay once for one(1) of the wallpapers/ringtones. Then you have it forever on your phone, but if you delete it or want another ringtone then you have to pay again.

I was also surprised that Blizzard charges for it. They have more than enough money to make this a free service, at least for subscribes. Blizzard is getting gready, this doens’t help their image.

I have a feeling Activision has a part in this.

The question then becomes, is Blizzard being greedy or are they simply following the orders of their new Overlords?

It’s not as if this has anything directly to do with creating games, so the usual freedom that they manage to convince their Overlords to give them doesn’t apply.

Thank God it’s more than just me who thinks 5 bucks for a ringtone and background is ridiculous.

Honestly, if they’re going to do this, give it for (At MOST) 99 cents to already paying customers for WoW. 3 bucks for Murgle? Yeah, I can create my own ringtone and make nearly the same noise for free.

Okay, with all the Monthly payments (over 1.6 billion dollars a month) plus all the games needing to be bought from the store, plus this, plus WC3, plus, plus, plus… They need to cut down on our subscriptions, buy a few more super computers so they can keep servers up 24/7, with the 15 minute rolling restarts once a week, and 8 hour maintenance for patches, not "fixing up a couple things" but PATCHES.

They could cut down the cost per month to 10 bucks a month and they’d still make over a billion dollars A MONTH and IMO that’s plenty to buy 20 houses and everything you need for a few years worth of money in their pockets…
