Shadows in Wrath of the Lich King: Reminder

Datth from the official forums reminded beta testers of the way to improve WoW’s shadow quality yesterday:

[BLUE=“http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=9232547620&sid=2000&pageNo=1#5”]The file is config.wtf, and the command is SET extShadowQuality “x”[/BLUE]

Open the file config.wtf and add the line as seen above. In place of the x, type a number from 0-4, 4 being the best quality. Alternatively, you can change the settings in-game using the chat box, eg.

/console extshadowquality 4

This results in amazing shadows that are totally accurate, and move according to the position of the light source, as seen here:
