Small Update on WWI and BlizzCon Beta Keys

Posted 24th Jul 2008 04:06 AM by Maticus

As many of you know, there is an issue with the WWI and BlizzCon beta keys (EU players can’t use the BlizzCon keys and US players can’t use the WWI keys). Until earlier, no one knew if Blizzard intended to resolve this, or if we were just going to have to lump it, but things are looking up.

Also, there was a reminder that if you have one of these keys, you must register it before 1st August if you want to get on the beta for the next round of invites:

[blue=http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=5101901012&sid=1&pageNo=1]We have some information to share regarding the beta codes received by those who attended the 2008 Worldwide Invitational or the 2007 BlizzCon. These codes are going to be used for the Wrath of the Lich King beta test. The codes will not be used for any other future Blizzard beta tests.

If you do have a beta code from one of these events, we advise you to register it without delay. The deadline for redeeming your code for the current round of invites is Friday the 1st of August. Codes registered after this date will not be eligible for beta entry until a later date, so we encourage everyone to register early and be part of the vanguard into Northrend.

Full details on how to register your code can be found at the following page:

We are looking into the EU/US issue along with our US colleagues and will update you when we have some information.
