After all the hype over hidden messages in games lately (like the recent case of the mother who claimed there was an Islamic message in her daughter's Baby Pals DS game), an old youtube video of so-called subliminal suggestions in WoW has resurfaced.
In the video, which I'll show after the break as it contains bad language, the person who made it claims the spirit at the graveyard whispers "Give us your money" and "World of Warcraft". However, as others have been quick to point out and as was discussed in the DS game case, any random sounds can be twisted into words if you try hard enough. Our conclusion? /facepalm. Now, what subliminal message do you get from that?

Dammit, Hindu messages is what I hear. “Shiva is funny”
It might also be a dig at P.E.T.A. because I can also make myslef believe it is saying “Shave us a bunny” or perhaps it is “Death isn’t funny”. Maybe since blizzard ALREADY HAS OUR MONEY if we are listening to this in game it is in the past tense “Gave us your money”.
I really do hear a “-nnny” sound at the end but that is the power of suggestion, not subliminal “advertising”
