Warcraft Film to be Live Action

Ancilorn (WoW-Europe CM) has confirmed that the upcoming Warcraft film is planned to be a live action movie.  This debunks any thoughts that Blizzard would do a full-featured CGI film. At most it might have partial CGI elements, but it looks like most of it will be live action with actors. Hopefully we get some love at the 2009 BlizzCon.  We would really love to know a partial cast.  Which actors would you consider for the different roles?

booo its totally gonna suck as Live Action, Blizz stop being douches and make it CGI.

Live Action is way, waaay beter than CGI, one thing to consider for you Live Action haters :D is: remember Star Wars? Episode 4,5,6! yea, i will watch those for million times, than look into clone wars again…

um… look at the awesomeness of the World of Wacraft Intros, i dont think you can compare those to Clone Wars.

yes, Warcraft intros look awesome, but you, what can go wrong will probably go wrong :D

the problem with making the warcraft movie live action is the fact that the warcraft art is very stylized and exagerated so doing the whole giant shoulder armor and weapons thing that you normally see in warcraft art does not work with live actors… and thus it will lose some of the warcraft style…

i mean can you really imagine the nelf ears the way they are in game on a real person not looking weird and/or stupid?...

plus all the major characters have established looks and voices… it will be very hard to find people that not only look but sound like the characters… unless they plan on dubbing over their voices with the current voice actors voices…

chris metzen’s thrall coming out of some random guy in make up won’t be as weird as the human voices but they’ve already said that it will be from an alliance prospective…

considering how truely epic blizzard’s cinematics are now i personally think they would be better off doing it that same style for the movie in general…
