The world event that everyone suspected would happen before the launch of Lich King kicked off at midnight tonight on EU servers.
Suspicious looking crates have appeared in Booty Bay, and if you open one, you are infected with the plague! If you don’t find a cure within 10 minutes, you become a zombie with some new spells of your own, and can attack anyone or any NPC. In doing so, you pass along the disease - even to an NPC.
To combat this threat, Argent Dawn healers have appeared in all cities. Approach one with the disease, and you are cured. How long before this spreads all over Azeroth? I’ll let you know in the morning

Seems more ominous than suspicious, since it’s obvious that if people mess with it enough it’ll swarm towns completely. I mean, this is the beginning of the plague, not the end. Nor anywhere near it.
