When you see a Warrior crashing towards you with a huge 2-handed weapon, you now have a genuine reason to be scared, that is, if you’re wearing one of these new Impact Vests from TN Games.

Our lightweight wearable gaming interface is designed to let you experience the physical aspects of game play such as impact, speed, motion, and gravity. As gamers ourselves, we designed the vest to make games more realistic, give you a better handle on the game space as a real 3-D environment, intensify your awareness and competitive edge during play, and take great games and supercharge their performance into an even more exciting unique experience. 3rd Space is elite cutting edge technology for our PC based audience.

I think I want one… They will be on display at the E for All Expo this weekend, and our friends from WanderingGoblin.com will be attending the event. Hopefully we’ll get some feedback about it. Here’s the press release:

LOS ANGELES—(BUSINESS WIRE)—TN Games, developer of the gaming industry’s most innovative and progressively advanced physical experience hardware and software technologies, announce today that they have enhanced the 3RD Space game driver to include support for World of Warcraft (WoW), which has over 10 million players worldwide. TN Games will demonstrate the WoW driver support for the award-winning 3RD Space Vest, which will provide gamers with 3 dimensionally accurate tactile sensory stimuli coordinated directly with the game action, at the E For All Expo being held in Los Angeles on October 3 – 5, Booth 428. The driver offers players fantastic contact effects as well as a physical sensory experience linking a new meaning and signature to magic spells and powers, while enhancing the intensity and fun of game play.

“Imagine actually feeling all the traditional impact effects of kicks, punches and blasts, plus environmental effects such as wind force and lightning strikes, as well as important RPG aspects like the effect of magic spells directly on your body as it happens,” said Dr. Mark Ombrellaro, CEO, TN Games. “The 3RD Space Vest and our RPG effects will absolutely take WoW players, and 20 other of the most popular FPS and RPG game titles to new immersive heights.”

Read the rest after the break.

The 3RD Space Driver Version 2.0 includes the entire functionality for all supported FPS and RPG titles within the single free download. Any 3RD Space Vest works with all supported titles and for those gamers who have already downloaded previous versions of the 3RD Space Driver, these new functions are automatically added with the driver’s auto-update function.

TN Games 3RD Space is elite cutting edge technology for our PC based audience and works in both single and multiplayer versions of supported games for more fun, realism, and social interaction. In addition to the bundled Call of Duty® 2 and Incursion, the 3RD Space Vest works with over 20 of the most popular game titles including: Bioshock™; Blacksite Area 51™; Call Of Duty® 4; Clive Barker’s Jericho™; Crysis™; Doom 3™; Enemy Territory Quake Wars™; Fable®; F.E.A.R™; Frontlines™ - Fuel of War; Rainbow Six® Vegas 2; Halflife 2™ - Episode 1; Halflife 2™ - Episode 2; Mass Effect™; Medal Of Honor Airborne™; Prey™; Quake 4™; TimeShift™; Turok™; Turning Point - Fall Of Liberty™; Unreal Tournament™ 3; You Are Empty™; and World of Warcraft™.

$169.00, quite steep. Only of use with physical damage and I guess that’s why they are marketing it towards FPS’.
