There are hundreds if not thousands of pop culture references throughout Azeroth and Outland, and hidden easter eggs awaiting to be found.  Sometimes you read an NPC’s name and it rings a bell, but you can’t just figure out where you have read it from. 

Bronnwynn @ Stormwind forwarded me one peculiar easter egg found in World of Warcraft.  There is an NPC named “Dirty” Michael Crowe who sells fish on Theramore Isle.  He says “You might wanna stand back.  Fish guttin’ is a dirty job.”. This is a reference to Mike Rowe of the Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs.
