Wrath of the Lich King Alpha Shot?

There has been a video that presumably was showing a low level Warrior walk up the stairs to the Frozen Throne and buying Frostmourne from a crystal vendor next to the throne. It’s from a german fansite, and it is not footage from the expansion. This is of course good and bad as it’s good that we won’t be seeing any such bad quality graphics in Wrath, but also slightly sad, as we are absolutely aching for more Wrath of the Lich King information.
In a way you can look at this as a bit of a teaser. The Lich King Alpha has started, and we will probably be able to see a very playable version at WWI Paris in June. There will probably be more info available either from leaks or released information from Blizzard very soon. Continue on for the video!
Now, there IS actually a Frozen Throne model inside your game files, but that model has been inside the game since launch, and it’s very probable that Blizzard has scrapped that completely, and done something new all together. It’s very obvious that this movie isn’t genuine, as the throne most obviously is of stone (instead of ice), and the textures are of comparably very poor quality.
Some have argued that as it’s obvious that the Warrior is using private server gear such as the huge bags, it is a private server joke. The steps and throne is said to come from Undercity. If that wasn’t a tipoff enough, then the vendor crystal should be! Either way, it is still impressive what you can do with too much time on your hands…
Also, keep on the lookout for anything Wrath-related!
