WWI Interview With J Allen Brack

Posted 2nd Jul 2008 08:02 PM by Maticus

On the second day of the WWI, we managed to grab WoW’s lead producer, J Allen Brack for an exclusive one-to-one interview.

It was a brilliant chance to put some of your questions to him, so I quizzed him on topics ranging from the Alpha client leaks to possible future Caverns of Time instances to who was responsible for the teaser images we saw before the event.

Hate to say this, but the sound quality is fairly bad. Too much background noise, I really can’t hear the questions you’re asking and I really have to strain to hear his answers as well. Almost makes me wish for subtitles.

The only part I had a hard time making out was the beginning but the rest wasn’t so bad.

But this is what I could make out for the Azjol-Nerub question.

“Right now the plan is at least right now to have at least one dungeon that is Azjol-Nerub themed. And then some point in the future we want to expand Azjol-Nerub. The history of Azjol-Nerub and how it plays into (inaudible) culture is something (inaudible) insight into. At the release of the game we will have a lot of quests and a lot of areas where Azjol has kinda come up out of the ground. We do really like the storyline of Azjol-Nerub and want to explore more into its lore in the future as well.”

Overall it was a nice interview and I enjoyed seeing his response to the Alpha stuff :p

Yeah, sound quality is horrible. Any chance of a transcript?
