Ooo! Thought you'd never ask. I want to see a priest in action. Human or Undead prefered but any is fine. I want to see them busy in party healing people and such or just kickin A solo. I would also like some kinda look at their list of spells and anything else cool about them. Priest info has been slightly scarce and the only video of them I've ever seen was real low quality :/. Thank you soooo much in advance if you guys decide to do this. :winner:

You can catch some of that with the gnome male dance movie (or any of the movies featuring characters in Dun Morogh (the icey area)), which is you will see them breathing when they let their breath out :)

Also, Rush - if you want help getting a level 20+ warlock for a summoning demo or for anything else Warlock/Shaman related, I'd be happy to help out. I have a level 39 Undead Warlock (char named Brego) so send me a whisper either on him or on Girion (currently level 25 Orc Shaman, current char now that Brego is at the cap) if you want it =)

Personally i'd like to see a whole party action.

So far i've seen only single chars killing mobs, cut scenes of combat.....


I'd really love to see a whole party: as it forms, as it goes out town, explores, fights, rests, fights again.

Priests buffing, Mages shooting fireballs, Rogues doing nasty tricks from behind, Shamans placing totems......all of this! :)

ok here's my movie wish list:

#1: a step by step sort of movie.. show the whole interface not just where the action is going on, mouse pointer and all.. ok here's me getting a quest, cut to me setting off on this venture, hacking away at mobs, looting mobs, turning in item/getting reward.

#2: group based combat. i play MMORPGs for a combination of the MM and the RPG, i don't play a game just for the O, so show us some MMing.

#3: spell effects, dazzle me.

My first pick would be this: last night scorch told us in the chat that he single handedly stopped an orgrimmar raid by aggro'in the lvl 90 guards and herded them towards the attackers. i would of loved to have seen that.

Just some simple stuff like a group in a dungeon walking around killing and resting? I like the idea of a step by step thing, cut to getting quest, cut to forming group, cut to killing subject, cut to getting reward.

Show us something you find interesting? Just odd things that we havent seen yet, like someone going underwater, or someone mentioned tradeskills, someone fishing or lighting a fire or even mining would be interesting.

The most important aspect, in my opinion, is keeping the HUD (or whatever the windows and toolbars and mouse are collectively known as) up. The gameplay movie was spectacular but it would have been nice to see some talking or interaction and what you did; how you actually are kicking in that bandit.

But to be honest, anything is brilliant :thumbsup: thanks so much for the movies already up there!! They fuel my addiction in a very satisfying way :flip:

I'd like to see a rogue testing all the ranged weapons. Something little for us hunters. ;)

Firing a gun, shooting arrows and throwing knife and axes. If you get your hands on a (throwing) spear you might want to demonstrate that also.

Swimming in action would be nice. After a year of Shadowbanes bleak waters, I want to see liquid with a pH value above 2...

Edit: yes, keep the HUD! When I'm watching in-game footage without the HUD, it feels like I'm really looking at a promotional pre-rendered sequence. The HUD reminds me that it's really a game, and one that I might be playing meself soon...

If you want a good clip of a good instance boss, my suggestion would be to do the Scarlet Monestary in the Chapel instance. The way it happens is you kill the one boss, then another boss comes out and puts you all to sleep (not even a tremor totem can wake you, I think) while the new boss resses the old boss, then you fight them both. Very cool :)

The Monestary requires that you have a full party of people at least level 37 though...so we might not see a video of that for a while :(

I'm confused... dead side of the world? You mean, running around as a Ghost? It's not much different... from what I say, you're just ethereal. I did see one ghost who revived the character, but that was it. No quests yet from what I hear, and nothing else too special. It would be nice if they revamped this a bit with easter eggs, quests, and more though...

There's nothing to being a ghost. Your character would appear "semi-transparent" to you, and the world appears perfectly normal, but completely without any NPCs or monsters (until you are in Ress radius of your corpse). You can only see other ghosts, which are also semi-transparent.

Also, you can always see party members, dead or alive.

Probably because nobody is seeding the torrent anymore, so there is nobody to connect to.

You can download those movies from the link posted by Fatbastard above. Same filesize/filename as the torrent movies, so I am assuming they are one and the same.

You probably need to download the DivX codec to view those movies. No video but audio is the big clue. You can download DivX here. (http://www.divx.com/divx/?src=toptab_divx_from_/index.php). You just want the standard DivX codec.
