The kills*drop indicate that each monster type dropped only 1 of this, so this schematic is a pretty random (but common) drop. You'd best just get it from the Auction House, cause actively looking for it wont do any good.

From what I have seen on thottbot, they only show drops. A lot of the plans can be learned with the help of a trainer. So it is not possible with this item?

If you see the plans, recipes, patterns noted, click on them and they'll tell you drops and/or which vendors sell it and/or which quests give it.
