Which Alchemy Potions are in demand

hi,

I'm an alchemist (150) and know not really which potions do sell well at the AH and how much money I can expect (I do not relly expect a exact price, but only a estimation).
In the future I will have a close eye to the AH which potions are there and which not.

I want only a first recommendation so I can better decide which herbs to collect primary and perhaps which potions will come when I am getting higher in my alchemy skill.

Rage/Free Action/Speed I think. But I don't think anyone got rich by selling potions so far.

Healing Potions seem to in high demand on my server... They tend to sell out quick when they are there, except for the ones that are priced at 75s for 5. That's lunacy. I usually wait until I can get them for around 25s for 5, at which point I do a little stocking up.

Potions that are required for quests or those that are needed for recipes like shadow and frost oil for blacksmiths can be in demand.

I know that shadow oil goes for upwards of 1g on Khadagar on the Alliance side or it was the last time I checked.

You can always get a lil bit for agility potions.

Not sure exactly what alchemy lvl you have to be for Greater Defense potion, but i sell groups of 2-3 for 1gold to 1g 50s every time. I'd give you more info but I havent been able to log onto Earthen Ring for the last few hours :) Wait till battlefields comes out... potions for pvp will sell well.

Yea, wow once battlefields are finishedb eing added alchemy will become the skill. No way around that trust me, agility defense, sicne the effects stack you could sell sets.

Elixir of Superior Defense (And Stonescale Oil)
Limited Invulnerability Potion (Great for anything goes Group PvP)

Alchemy is a great profession, but .. damned how should I store all the herbs... (is really a problem for my little rogue, because I have 8/10 slot bags ;)

The problem with Alchemy is that it is entirely necessary for groups in both instances and PvP, but it seems to be very difficult to make a decent amount of money from it (ok yes you can sell the various oils but compared to bag selling this equates to very little). I have lvl 60 shaman on final beta and the two other level 60's who have tailoring were able to easily get elite mounts due to the amount of money you can make from selling runecloth bags. Basically Alchemy rox but don't expect to make a huge amount of money from it and gl to you all alchemists finding some nice epics to sell on AH to swiftly get your elite mounts :).

As for the Question about herbs, I use 2 runecloth bags on my bank to store my herbs. I collect them and then craft when I return to the bank which seems to work fine.
