Hi,
I'm not a programmer or anything so I thought I'd submit an idea that someone could make an addon.
I'm an enchanter. Enchanters are the only class that can't sell their services in the AH. We must stand around announcing our wares in the trade or general channels. Of course, they roll off the chat windows quickly when others are also trying to sell stuff, too. We either have to retype the announcement or use a prewritten macro that is limited to 256 characters.
What I would like to see is an Addon called Advertiser. You would call up Advertiser, type in what you want to sell and for how much and then Advertiser would announce it in the trade or general channel repeating it every few minutes until you turn it off. And, it could allow us to advertise serveral items in one announcement. This could be really useful for all sellers, not just enchanters, if you could also drag the item for sale into Advertiser like we do with the chat window so the item link shows up.
I would think this would also work well for those looking to buy items, too.
I know this might have a potential for spamming but if the timer was set to every 5 minutes or longer it shouldn't be too bad.
