Mining - Anyone know some good techniques?

Hi, I've found that certain people are able to amass large quantities of thorium rather quickly. So I figure that there must be some spots that are good to get rich thoriums veins that I don't know about.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how one can find them and mine then quickly?

I don't know about quick, but I do remember seeing one guy in burning steppes running around looking for thorium at 1pm and then later seeing him still doing it 4 hours later when I came out of BRD. So basically, you just hit the thorium areas and keep running around. You could also use his tactic of trying to steal nodes that I was already working, but I wouldn't advise that one! :mad:

hhmmmm sounds about right to me, i got aspect of the cheetha last night which ment i run 30% faster, i just run round the outside of the map once or twice along the mountain boarders of any map and just collect collect collect till my sacks are full......my sacks on my back that is!! :lol: seems to do the trick, takes some time but hey its worth it.

when i first got mithril, i spent 6 hours in 2 days just running circles around my favorite area mining/killing anything that was in the way. then i sold it all to help pay for my mount. as long as u are killing things on the way its not too boring, especially if killing those things helps with a quest

Might want to get a ui mod called Map Notes Gatherer. Very helpful in this regard.
