horde weapon/armor smith

i am lvl 40 and have 229 artisan blacksmithing.

i have looked everywhere for information on how to train in weapon craft.

in orgrimmar a have a couple of smith quests, one early involving the plans for barbaric items, which i ignored because the items are useless to me and my trade skill. the other quest i have is new, but it requires i make him 4 steel plate helms and 4 steel breastplates.

i am worried that if i complete that quest it will stick me with armor crafting.


am i supposed to have been offered a choice yet, or what?

i found that when searching too, but it doesnt give the information i need.

the guy that is supposed to offer weapon smith or armor smith craft is not speaking up. i meet the requirements of lvl 40 and over 200 artisan blacksmithing...

lots of other people are having the same problem. either the quest is bugged, or the instructions from thotbot and that one you posted are not detailed enough to be any help.
