Are there Alchemy quests?

I've run into people doing blacksmithing quests, leatherworking quests and even enchanting quests... but as an Alchemist I have never gotten any quests that even remotely have anything to do with Alchemy. Have I just missed that 1 alchemist trainer that starts the whole thing or is alchemy really a non-quest profession?

For the rest not really, unless you consider getting the plans and the creation of this (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=9149) and this (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=13503) to be quests.

Hey, I'm an artisan alchmest . and ya there are a couple.

is the start of a 3 part series which ends (if you're an alchmest) with an eliet quest that has the teaching of 'restorative elixir" as the reward. (it's an awsome elixir btw)

Also, there's a hidden trainer in RFD instance, behind some walls that you break down, he'll teach you the cooking recipe for goldthorn tea if you meet the cooking level requirements, as well he will teach you the alchemy recipe for "Strong Trolls blood" if you meet the alchemy level requirements.

I remeber getting an alchemy horde-quest from the guy in Ratchet in my lvl twenties. (The guy in front of the forge who also gives you the blueleaf tubers quest and the quest for spider eggs in stonetalon).

ya, it's a herb quest. basically just to pick up some earthroot for the guy.
