- Server Faction ratio's.
- NPC/Mob locations + a picture of what each looks like.
- Item information. Who drops it, where is it found, what are its abilities etc.
- Prices for items, from highest to lowest to median per server.
- List the prices for services like enchanting from high to median to low per server.
- Quest information: who gives what quest at what level, what are the rewards, are there any follow up quests.
- Update the current class abilities sections: Implement prices for each rank of a spell/ability, mana/energy/focus/rage cost, whether or not it's the result of a quest or a talent etc.
- Alter the talent tool calculator at the current class section, so that it works with non IE browders. Current one doesn't work with Netscape for instance.
- Place where talent builds can be listed, with proper mention how certain talents modify the abilities of certain skills/spells. Show the proper numbers. So if an unimproved Arcane Shot were to do say 65 points of damage at rank 1, and the Improved version, fully talented out were to do 80 points of damage, then that should be mentioned. This mention should be applied to every rank of an skill/spell.
- Proper stats per race/class combo per level. So not just the base stats at level 1, but at level 2, 3 etc all the way to 60.
- Reorganize the tradeskill trainer list, so that it properly shows who you go to for apprentice, for journeyman etc. Current set up is too confusing when compared to its counterparts on other sites.
- List what tradeskill makes what, the requirements for each item, and have seperate listings for the specialization items. So if you have a list with everything that a regular blacksmith makes, then there are follow up links which show what an axe smith can make or an armour smith etc.

That should about cover everything.

You want fries with that?

Actually, Thank You! I am sure we are already working on most of those but if there are any that we weren't, we will be now.

Keep checking daily as new content is always being added.

No fries, but a coke would be nice. :tongue10:
If there's one things folks have learned when around me, it's be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it.

If the above mentioned features were all implemented, then we wouldn't need to send posters over to other sites. It's indeed much easier if all the info is consolidated, but until it is..

Well.. The new interpretation of the old rule is just a pain in the rear and a bit of a PR embarrassment as far as I'm concerned.

Especially in light of some of the phrases that you used, which are highly reminiscent of what Blizzard uses, when they're trying to blow smoke in people's eyes.

Yeah, please fix this. It doesn't work with Firefox either.

Musta missed the new forum for our wwndata project....

http://forums.worldofwar.net/forumdisplay.php?f=115

we haven't put that in the news because we want to keep testing to a limited number of people.

But the more higher level characters we get using that the quicker we fill up the dbase and then we'll start on presentation.

Design and presentation ignore, that's all changing.

This one is mostly done. There may be some things missing however they are annotated which is axesmith etc which you don't get on dbase driven sites.

An example here on the Weapons recipe page

http://www.worldofwar.net/professions/blacksmithing/weapons.php

Or on this Engineer list where it also notes items that non-engineers can use

http://www.worldofwar.net/professions/engineering/armory.php

As for sending people to other sites, many of the links I see are to information we have on the site and no, those links will be removed or changed.

Check out that forum though and get involved.

Well I guess this is where this belongs...

http://hunter.worldofwar.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=3&page=1 needs updating. Theres is a site out there that has all the info on what pets need to be tamed for which abilities and which pets can use them, in a nice table format. If you could do better than that page then I'd be more than willing to link to it. I don't know how you'd feel about pinching info or if we should all go out and tame every beast from lvl 10 upwards to find the data again for ourselves... :/ One thing I'd like to see is the skills listed as which pets can use them rather than which pets can't. Always thought that was a bit odd.

Then again, there will come a stage when there are more abilities added then we could find that info for ourselves tottally legitimately.

A list of all the pets available to hunters (based on beast family maybe?) with images + maps would also be great ;)

I think Valas covered almost everything in his first post though.

EDIT: I've reinstalled WWNdata, hopefully its not gonna munch my savedvariables this time :mad02:

It would also be nice if we could get copies of the cartography maps in layers (PSD or something). There are a number of mistakes and missing items on many of the maps (west binding is in the wrong palce on the Arathi map for example).

I wouldn't mind fixing them if I had access to the raw files.
