Sorry if this has already been posted, but 26 pages of threads is hard to look through and there seems to be no relevant mod on the site.

What I'm looking for is a mod to help with engineers (as the title suggests), because there are many skills, such as Advanced Target Dummy, which require reagents, which in turn, need to be made with engineering. To simplify, I am looking for a mod which will list all raw material requirements, rather than reagent requirements, as a tooltip, like the information Thottbot supplies. Reagent Data looks like it may be useful, but I don't have the technical know-how in modding.

Possible further enhancement to the mod (just the above would be brilliant, but this is a suggestion) would be to use LootLink to find roughly how much these raw materials would cost at the AH, to give a rough estimate of how much an item would cost in raw materials. For example, a Dark Iron Bomb may cost, say, 40s in raw materials (rough guess), and this could be displayed in the tooltip next to the item name.

Thanks for your time, and I hope that a skilled developer somewhere reads this. Feedback (as long as it's not flames) would be appreciated. I look forward to seeing the mod!

I would second that request...it would be very useful for a mod that (for example) showed the actual ingredients in total...so for something requiring 2 bronze bars, it would show a requirement of 1 tin bar and 1 copper bar. Engineering recipes can produce quite a lengthy shopping list :)

You might want to keep an eye on KC_Enhanced Trades (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=3974), or even drop Kaelten a line.

One of the items mentioned in the roadmap (http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1011) for the addon mentions "Auto Sub Components - Automatic creation of sub components when you create a complex item." I can't imagine that looking up the required components of the sub components would be too far of a stretch from there, if it's not part of the plans already.
