...the lengths that people go to to acquire the resources, especially in parties. I've been in parties where someone stopped the quest just to go grab a far out Tin deposit, or pick a Fadeleaf. It just amuses me.

I've had bum luck with mining, so in the middle of an elite quest I almost accidentally sacrificed my party when I left them to get a Silver vein.

Ah, the things we do for gathering. Does anyone have humorous gathering stories?

You should see the senaking I do to get some herbs in SV.
There is a Lotus in the middle of a camp filled with Trolls some 5 lvls above me. So I prowl around to get the lotus, use some roots, harvest AND RUNN LIKE HELL! :))

Course it was also fun when I was sneaking around some dragonkin elties in Wetlands. All that for a flower. :))
