Well, Just wondering, whats the longest time you've spent waiting.
At this moment in time I currently have been waiting for 7 hours to get into Alterac.

its probably 80x worse in Alterac but you can count on some sort of a wait almost anytime in WSG too.
typically throughout the day there are battles taking place for all the level ranges, or atleast it seems. there are peak hours (right now around 10pm central standard time USA) and there are dead hours, anytime after 1am here it seems like.
i have spent atleast 9 hours in queue with no relief in sight, almost always overnight, as this is my peek playing time, other times when im settling in for a long wait, there is a BG ready for me in just seconds.
you can usually tell on our server when BG action will be closing for the night, as it starts to take longer for enough allliance to get re-queued to play, and a few of us hordies are saying adoo. its pointless to try and queue in the 30-40 level much after that, although every now and then there will be one last surprise battle, usually lopsided with more horde than alliance, and often times many will leave the last one, as they tire of losing all day.
im on the eldre thales server, level 39 undead mage, and it almost seems un-balanced, alliance gets bored, even had a whole side leave in the middle of a battle one time, leaving just one alliance who stuck in there to the end.

Yea I can get into Warsong Gulch relativly quickly, it's just kinda depressing :(. In one night at Alterac valley I managed to get 188 honour kills, with 8000+ honour points, which is alot more than I ever made in 30 levels worth of Warsong Gulch'ing :p
It is quite annoying when in the middle of a battle alot of the horde leave, I've never had a problem with Alliance leaving the battle yet, even when we get hammered the team I'm in always seems to stay :). Perhaps some people can't handle being beat up =(

Waited 5 hours before I gave up on a WsG session, but it's on a PvE server at it was at a 'low' time, haven't been made to wait that long after that time as I've stayed away from WsG at low times...

Same here, 5 hours today on Durotan.
I was almost giving up when I received the call.
I guess it was too early, but after 2 PM everything runned smooth
