I checked my characters today (12pm) and my upload of the past couple of days does not appear to have been completed??

Although I received the "upload completed message"? Is the database lagging with loading the updates?

How can I check except to manual review/remember what change on my characters?

For example, Dracohunt finished the Deadmines and got 2 blue items from there, but still not showing up on the profile after 4days???

Hi,

Did your character have those blue items equiped at some point ? If they didn't then the item data won't get uploaded. If they did, there is a problem somewhere.

I know my character ( moemeth ) got a Blue helmet from ZF a few days back, and I have it equiped currently, but just like you it looks like on my character sheet the Helmet isn't there. So I will be investigating this further this week.

Are you saying that items which you don't equip won't get added to the item database? I wouldn't think that was the case since one of my first seen items was a green plate armor that I found with my Rogue, and as we all know, it's pretty hard for a Rogue to wear plate.

Hm, strange I always believed you needed to equip an item before it gets uploaded. Could be that it also gets uploaded if you have it in your inventory when logging out though.

Yes Annunaki, it only has to be in your bag - not equipped.

Amongst my first seen by are Eight of Beasts (http://wwndata.worldofwar.net/item.php?id=19236) and Destiny (http://wwndata.worldofwar.net/item.php?id=647) neither of which can be equipped by my priestess

I did the forced file upload by pointing it to my /wtf/<account>/Savedvariables/SV.lua file last night.

This morning all my characters appears to have been updated.

I'm thinking that your normal Upload feature is not selecting the correct SV.lua file...

BTW: I have 4 different accounts on my computer. Could this be part of the problem?

To Dracomage,

Yeah multiple accounts might be part of the source :-) But once most of the current bugs are fixed and some long standing work is finished we might have a look at supporting that.

Could you explain how the program searches for which SV.lua file to use?

Maybe I can shuffle my multiple account folders around a bit to make it easier?

Example move the ones I do not use as my primary/upload acc to different area before hitting upload? And then moving them back once its done?

Hi,

Check the FAQ thread Cybrey made a while back, especially the part concerning the Registry Keys. The Client currently tries to determine the location of you logged data file by using the Registry Keys ( the AccountName one ).

Ah thank you!

I'm guessing the last account used would then be enabled in the Registry key. (I checked the FAQ for which registry keys you were talking about)

I'll just need to make sure that I used my main account (to update the registry) before hitting upload.

That's an easy solution. Will see if it works.

The normal upload feature did not do it. I had to Upload special each time, but it ensures that my data stays updated.

small workaround.

have you check it again?
