Timestamp update?

Hi,

Time stamp on Character Sheet is a good idea and IMHO one that should go in ASAP. Would save us ( the users ) a lot of time when trying to determine why our Character Sheet hasn't been updated yet.


Will all the recent updates, I was hoping that this would have sneaked in...

I'll see what I can do about this.

The problem is that all character related pages are cached, and in some rare instances the pages are not regenerated ( we hope we fixed all those cases ). So you might see 'last uploaded on 1-1-2005' on your page, while in the Database the field could containt 12-12-2005.

In short, the Character related pages are genereated for you and stored somewhere on our server. The next time you come visit the character page, it isn't necessarly regenerated. If your data hasn't been modified the system should be smart enough to return the previously generated page. If your data was modified, the system should be smart enough to discard the previously generated page and recreate it.

Anyway, this was just to say that I will see if I can get that in for the next release, and explain you how the system works so you know that there might be some differences between what you see and what is actually in the Database.
