Tell me your favorite pvp encounter. Here is mine:
Me: 47 Warlock vs. 51 Shaman
I was on the coast of the Hinterlands trying to find Gammerita. I killed a snapjaw out of boredom. This Shaman ganks me (I was at full health, but I had low mana and my succubus was at half health.)
The fight was extremely close, but he killed me. I don't think he noticed that my dots were still working on him though. I hoped that my dots would kill him after I was dead, so I waited a second. He did the emotes:
"Hyoonj spits on you"
Then he sat down on my corpse
"Hyoonj says NO, not going to happen"
The dots weren't going to kill him, and I saw that he started to cast something (I assume a healing spell) so I used my soul stone to pop back up and drain his life before he could heal himself, and I killed him.
Because we were on the beach, I went down into the sea (unending breath) and healed up completely while I waited for him to rez. He rezzed and started to kill a turtle. I ganked him, and after he was dead I sat on his body.
"Sanguina says NO, not going to happen."
So be careful if you barely beat a Warlock, they might pop right back up and finish you off.

Thats funny, id have thought a Shaman wouldve popped back up and pulled the same trick, heh.
You mustve caught him with Reincarnation on cooldown.
me 45 druid vs. 45 rogue.
I was in the badlands killing the Ogres, during a fight a Rogue backstabs me. I was not stunned so I back up cast a ferie fire, shifted to travel form and escaped. I tried to stop and fight him but could not recover enough to get the upper hand. I finally root him and loose him. Soon as I was OOC, I went cat form and prowl, I tried to get back to the rogue but he stealthed. I prowled around and I went back to the place where he ran me off, found the same rogue fighting the Ogres. I prowled up behind him while he was fighting and did perditory strike (I think thats what its called for the prowl mode big hit). A couple of more hits and had a dead rogue. Revenge felt so good I stuck around in prowl and returned the gank one more time. I made my don't gank me" point and left, not wanting myself to be known as a 'ganker'....
I was fighting in arathi basin with another druid, i was trying to run away because i had low health. I was in the water and used seal form, he roots me i shift out and i root him back, he shifts and then roots me back i shift and roots him back. We both laughed at each other and said we were bored, then the match ended.
Another favorite of mine was when i had my warrior and i was in Ashenvale, i ran past a mage, got some distance and charged him. He blinked after several hits and hit me with his fireball or whatever. We both got low on health after some good fighting and somehow we both died at the same time! I thought it was a great fight.

Was in Winterspring and I was a 55 Shadow Priest at the time. Got a quest to go discover dark gourge (or whatever it's called) in Winterspring. So I ride there and see a 60 Gnome mage that ganked me like 5 levels ago in felwood. Just standing on the road. I dis mount and spool up a mind blast, threw all my dots on him and a silence. bla bla it was a good fight and he got me before I could get a heal off. So then he just started dancing and spiting on me. The dumbass was at like 3% when he got me and the dots clicked one more time in mid dance ,,,,Yeah he died..lol got killed by a 55 priest..lol So I ran back and waited and he rez like 8 sec. after me I threw a silence MB and a dot and killed him again.. then I got the quest done. Silly Mage didn't your mommy tell you not to mess with Shadow Priests

This one wasn't a great fight....but it was great for me.
I was in the badlands looking for that big ogre guy you have to pull away from the pack, and I see a human warrior already had my guy one-on-one. The warrior is working on him so I wait until the warrior has the orge down to 1/4 health. Then I Ambush and Backstab the warrior, he's dead b4 he knows it. I sprint to get to the ogre before he finishes running to his spot and one shot Backstab crit kill him. Quest complete!!
I didn't expect to make it to the ogre before he recovered his health, but just made it.

Blackrock Mountain + Mind Control = :happy34:
I wouldnt call this favourite, but it was funny as hell. There was huge horde ganking at Nessingwarys in Stranglethorn Vale. I happened to pop by to turn in a quest when suddenly i was being charged and killed so sudden in the middle of the camp by this 37 warrior ( i was 41 ).
It was pretty hard to fight back or take revenge with so many high levels around too so i rezzed in the tent, no one noticed me, i aimed shot + serpent sting + arcane shot the warrior and he was like spinning around : '' where the **** is the shots coming from?'' Haha i was laughing my ass off until i finally got boom by a stealthed rogue.

I play on PvE servers, but there's a few cases where I finished off a wounded enemy who was ?? to me.
I had a NE Hunter last spring, and once he logged in at Astranaar to find a high level troll hunter in town, fighting the guards, with his health dropping. I was about 25-27 or so, and I killed him with one shot Arcane Shot. Of course, a few minutes later he reappeared before PvP had faded from me and killed me, though I took him to half health and perhaps the guards finished him.
There was also the time my gnome warlock, only about 28 at the time, found a female undead rogue south of Darkshire. She's killed a guard, and killed a gnome rogue near my level as I watched, but that left her with less than 10% health, so I Immolated her. She tried to Vanish, not effective of course, and the Immolate alone finished her off.
These were both well before the Honor System.

I was a lvl 19 at the time and this lvl 16 human warrior thinks he can kill me. I had a 1 handed axe and a good sheild. He had a small 2 handed sword with enchant on it. So we're fighting and he's low on health, and this lvl 17 mage jumps in and starts nuken me. I barely killed the warrior, and started at the mage. Somehow I resisted his last frostbolt, and got on him. He starts usin a fireball and I sheild bash him. He starts freakin out and jumps up and down. LMAO. I got hamstring on him and killed him 30 seconds after the warrior. I'm lvl 56 now. It still cracks me up to think how that mage freaked out and started jumpin instead of attacking, in all my battles in PVP thats my favorite.

I wouldn't say this is my best pvp moment, but it's one that was a very good fight and took a good amount of time to win the fight.
Location: Arathi Basin
Me: 60 MM/SV(21/30) hunter
Opponent: 60 Paladin
Part way in the battle I decided to swing by the Alliance held mine to see how guarded it was. As it came into view I only saw a Paladin there, so I decided to make my move to take the mine. As soon as i engaged my opponent I moved my way to the flag. Once i reached the flag I feigned death and quickly placed my freeze trap. The Paladin then walked right into it, freezing himself for a long 29 seconds. That 29 seconds was more than enough time to take over the mine. After taking the mine over, I realized I still had to deal with this Paladin scum. Let the fight begin. I started off by viper stinging him and running him around until I got him out of mana. He managed to cleanse himself a few times, but I eventually got him down to next to no mana. He then put on his bubble and gave himself whatever healing he could do with the amount of mana he had. After this it was more running around and trying to wingclip him to keep him at a distance better. Then BAM! after wingclip wore off he got too close and hit me with hammer of justice, but luckily I have my insignia of the horde on and quickly break loose and wingclip him again and continue to kite him in a circle in the open area around the mine. By this point the we have had the mine taken over for a few minutes, but no one has come to help me or this paladin. So the fight continues, he ends up using a mana potion which did make the fight difficult as I had to let my mana regen for viper sting and had no mana potions, but i eventually got his mana back down to almost nothing. So I continue to kite him, he gets a couple good hits on me late in the fight and forces me to use a health potion. From there I'd say it was just more kiting until his lil dwarf arse hit the ground.
One thing I found kinda funny about this fight is that no one came by the mine for I'd say at least 7-10 while me and the pally were fighting. however the moment the pally died, a group of allies came roaring down the hill on their mounts and make quick work of me and took back the mine.

Not to say that this is my favourite, but I still get a kick out of it every time it happens.
I play on a PvE so mostly i'm relegated to BG for the fun of it. Anyway, I have to say, it's always funny to see someone feign death. I still don't really understand it in BG, b/c I'm always going to go remove their insignia anyway. So really all I wind up doing is seeing my melee icon there instead of the 'gear'. Nothing like stabbing someone lying prone ftw.

I have a couple, but maybe I'll tell you them later. This one is about this guy that kept jumping me while I was in the middle of a quest, I was level 54 and fought with a level 56 druid a minute before, which was boring, I crit ambushed, crit backstabbed, ss ss, crit evis, and he was dead. But the real story is about this Paladin. I was in WPL, had just barely leveled, my friend's were just a minute away, I needed to go meet them. This Paladin (Level 60) pops up and Crusader Stuns me. I say to my party "Ugh, 1 sec. Pala." then stealth real quick and get behind him and ambush, no crit, ss, crit ss, gouge, crit backstab, crit evis, he's at 1/3rd health, vanish, ambush, he's at 1/4th health, shield, heal, heal, I sprint for a couple seconds, turn back on stealth, run straight through him, crit ambush, crit backstab, crit ss, it's looking great, gouge, backstab, he's at 1/5th health, eviscerate, 1/8th health, I quickly slap in a gouge, jump behind him, he starts to use a flash heal, I use my skill that restarts all my skills timer's, gouge again, vanish, crit eviscerate.
It doesn't sound too exciting, but it was one of the biggest rushes for me. I hated Paladin's, and he had actually fought a couple of my friends before in WPL. So, it was comeback and it made me happy that I could kill him. Mind you, this was about 2 months ago, I quit about 1 1/2 months ago, so I couldn't remember the skill name of that reset skill timer thing.

I am a 44 Lock and my partner is a mage of the same level, myfavorite incident so far was just last week when we were killing Ogres together in Feralas at lvl 43.
We were just off the road and had killed 2 ogres when my fiance noticed a lvl 47 Nelf rogue. There were about 5 ogres between us and her so we kind of backed up to see what she would do ... well, she stealthed of course. I decided to pull up my felhunter as my fiance started arcane explosioning around us so she couldn't hit me mid cast ... and then we waited. After about 2 minutes I was bored so i started killing another Ogre.
This of course is when she and her partner 46 druid decide to jump us (we hadn't seen the druid before so the nelf may have called in reinforcements causing the delay) Mage pressence of mind/pyroblasts the rogue, I set my felhunter on her and lay on all the DOT's then switch to the druid and get in all my DOT's. Back to the Rogue who is now like1/4 health but mage isn't doing so hot - I recast the DOT's and deathcoil her sending her into a fear from which she never recovers. Mage eats his healthrock and then we turn to the druid who has me at 1/2 life now (yay 300 life heal from deathcoil) but is herself at about 1/2 due to the DOT's and Sloozun my little pig dog. I get another round of DOT's on her as she takes off running, switching to travel form (Sloozie ate her heals :xmas22: ) We both ran into the road after her and Sloozun as I got one last DOT on her as she nearly got out of range ... lvl 1 fast cast ice bolt, slow kitty, piggy demon bite, DOT tick, flop - dead kitty!
It is my favorite so far since I am sure they were cackling about how they were going to "PWN" us little squishies since they had the stealth surprise and 3-4 levels on us. :xmas16:
Moral of the story - teams are tough, if you see 2 chars with matching names you may want to think twice.

Playing my level 30 alt when a group of 3-4 alliance come invade my hunting spot and repeatedly spit/rude and corpse camp me about 3 or 4 times. Unaware to them my 60 Rogue is camped behind a tree in the exact same area. I wait for them to pull a few mobs. Cheapshot the person tanking and get him down to 5% and let the mob finish him off. Mob aggro's someone else I take them down to about 5-10% and let the mob finish off. After a few times it's back to the alt and I don't get bothered again.

This is supposed to be about fun PvP experiences, and one of my favorites is when I fight someone that has no idea how to play thier class.
YOU sir have no idea what you are talking about as a rogue. You aren't going to RESTEALTH if you are in combat with a paladin beating on you. You can if you use vanish, but I highly doubt you can use it the 4 TIMES you described in this story. That skill resetter, PREPERATION, can only be used 1 time every 10 min. That gives you 2 VANISHES tops. But, any Paladin fighting a rogue, unless they are a FOOL, is going to be using Concecrate everytime it cools down. Also, you said you burned PREPERATION so that you could gouge him again!?! Why in GOD'S NAME would you use a 10 MINUTE COOLDOWN skill to reset a skill that has a 6-12sec timer?!? PREPERATION is used to reset Vanish, Blind, and/or Cold Blood. Not once did you mention Cold Blood, Blind, Imp. Ambush, or anything that someone who KNEW HOW TO PLAY that class would be using. You sound like an SS spammer. You mention Ambushing him, so I assume you are a dagger rogue. Means that spamming SS does pathetic damage, and is about the biggest energy waste you can do.
So in short, my PvP experience is the love of being a stunlock SWORD rogue fighting dagger rogues that have no idea what their class is for. Thank you for playing the way you do. Your crappy playing allows people to drop thier gaurd against rogues. Makes totally destroying them that much better.
MIND YOU. I'm not bashing DAGGER ROGUES as a whole here. I've fought many a rogue that knows how to play daggers, and can easily mop the floor with me. This is a description of someone who CANNOT play this class correctly. :xmas13:

You should watch what you say. I used it on a 9 second timer skill because if I didn't I would have died. Also, yes, you can restealth. If you don't have a target selected for 5 seconds it takes you out of combat, so you can gain health and/or restealth. Also, I told you, I haven't played in over 2 months, I forgot the name of Preparation. So, learn to stop bashing people, especially people near Christmas. =).
Edit: I forgot to add, since I only skimmed through your story, Preparation is on a 5 minute timer. The battle lasted around 6 minutes, to which I only used once in that 6 minutes.

Paladins are the easiest class for a Rogue to restealth on. They have no snares, no long range attacks except Holy Shock which is a pathetic skill or Repentance which I think is a 31 point talent and it can be removed by WoTF. With poisons on you can auto attack and run away and restealth all day long. With no poison you can restealth off every gouge without any trouble.
He also stated that he restealthed when the Paladin healed with Divine Shield on, which is easy considering the Paladin isn't attack him, he's standing still, and Kalzi had sprint on so he's easily able to stay out of melee range for 5 seconds. The other time he Vanished, used Preperation, and Vanished again. Consecrations is a 21 point talent and a mana sink so not every Paladin has it. It's also STATIONARY. You can easily walk the 5 yards out of the glowing ground and you aren't affected by it anymore. If you're stealthed and the Paladin consecrated the ground it's not Rocket Science to wait for the ground to stop glowing before you open.
If you happened to actually read what he wrote, you'd notice that he used Vanish, then Preperation, then Vanish again. Which is what you said Preperation should be used for right? Removing the 5 minute timers on abilities. Some people play hybrid builds and have both improved sinister strike and Improved Ambush. Some people use daggers and then weapon swap over to a sword/mace so who's to say he was sinister striking with a dagger.
For someone who laid down a pretty big flame, you may want to learn a few more things about PvP before you start calling people horrible Rogues.

So yesterday afternoon my 33 priest is grinding ogres in arathi highlands. a 36 rogue ganks me at half health with weakened soul. The ogre dies, rogue gets me to about 20% health before I can sneak in a fear. I swp him as he runs off, then flash heal myself twice. I start looking all over to reacquire my target but I can't find him anywhere. "WTF? he can't be stealthed, I hit him with swp!"
So maybe 15 seconds later I get the little "+42 honor" tick.
It turns out that the fear made him run right in the cave, where shortly thereafter he was pounded by half a dozen ogres. :D

My PvP experience is limited to 10-19 WSG, but in one of my last battles before I hit 20, I went one on one, my Level 19 Human Warlock against a level 19 Troll Mage. Well, two one one if you count my Imp. The battle was great, we were off to the side so no one interfered, and I ended up finishing her off with only small chunk of health left.
It was a load of fun, now I just wish I could get to level 25 to be effective there again.

Rogue versus rogue:
In the entrance to Ungoro crater I run into a 55 Ud rogue with my 53 Human rogue. Both of us dismounts and stealths, me hitting perception before I do so. Because he was two levels higher than me he saw me, as did I because of Perception. Cheap shot simultaniously followed by Gouge again same time! That's 9 seconds of total stun on both ends when noone could do **** but look at our characters. :) Went down to an ugly and one of the most even fights I've ever had. Truly amazing, I'll never forget even it was more than 6 months ago.
Warrior versus warrior is fun when both charge and both get stunned. :) And when theres noone to interfere, just you and him. That's the ultimate test of player skill (considering both have same sort of gear).
Last night at my 33 Hunter I had a rough fight against a 35 shammy in STV. I saw him, waited for him to kill mob, he saw me, I place trap, waited for him to drink and eat and off we went! Barely came out on top, incredible fight!

I was in AB the other day as a 38 Troll Mage. As usual, horde was kickin ass and were destroying everything, everything except this 39 Dwarf hunter. After playing AB about 4 times, me and him generated this unhealthy rivalry. Everytime we saw eachother we beelined for one another. Well long story short, I am running down towards the mine and see him. His pet charges me and I blink forward. He gets off his vipersting?? the one where it drains mana, and another shot. I get off a few bursts of fire and then frost nova him. Luckily I got his pet in their too. I moved inside of his gun range and laid loose.
after awhile, his pet gets loose, and im almost dead. I CoC both of them, and luckily his cat gets frozen. Once again I unleash all i got on him and finally kill him
I looked at my health and had 12 left, and mana was down to under 100. That was awesome

My best PvP efforts to date :)
Lvl 17 Warrior defeats Lvl 19 Druid
In lvl 10-19 WSG, I was doing my regular job of flag room guard when my hunter companion and I spotted a female tauren druid sizeing us up from the small platform which overlooks the flag room.
I raced up the ramp and got the jump on her with Charge. She managed to get off a heal and a HoT, but I was fortunate enough to have an Overpower crit, followed almost immediately with an Heroic Strike to take her down before she could heal again, or shift to Bear Form.
I was pretty satisfied with myself, but later the same druid had her revenge when I chased her out of the keep - a few roots later and I was a bloody smear on the landscape - and learned that its a big advantage to fight druids indoors.
Lvl 3 Priest narrowly losses to Lvl 4 Priest
Although this one was a duel, and at an embarrassingly low level, I remain pretty pleased with my efforts, unsuccessful though they were.
Having done the first few Coldridge valley quests to get to lvl 3, I received the duel challenge and thought "what the hey". I was a bit dismayed to find that my opponent was a lvl 4 priest who had the very big advantage of Shadow Word: Pain.
(I really need to take a look at challengers before I hit accept - I once accepted a duel while I was checking mail at the Crossroad and was surprised to find no-one there when I closed the mail window. I twigged that my opponent must be a rogue an instant before he Ambushed me lol)
Anyways, my lvl 3 vs lvl 4 duel turned into a bit of an epic struggle - I spent most of my time standing directly behind my foe, clubbing him with my crappy starting 1h mace, frustrating his attempts to hit me with Smite. He dropped SW: Pain on me constantly and we both healed as necessary.
After quite some time, we were both down to a sliver of health, although he had a heap of mana compared to me. Worried that he would get a heal off before my pitiful mace caved in his skull, I gambled and tried to fire off a Smite of my own - about 0.2 of a second too late as his smite hit me first :( At least he was nice enough to compliment me on how close the fight had been :)

My favorite was just the other day, on my 32 'lock. I was running from Splintertree to Raynewood for a quest, and as usual, I'm spinning my view around me making sure I dont get ganked from Rogues or whatnot (I despise rogues.) Anyways, I see a 31 NE Druid behind me switch to cat form and start following me.. so I act like I didnt notice. Little did he know, that my succubus was invisible, and running nearly next to him. I uncloaked my succy and the guy jumped, probably scared the crap out of him in RL, and started to run away. I hit him with seduce, walked up to him, did the /laugh emote, and hen feared him and kept going on my way. =D

there was an epic battle on my server as i was 'growing up'. held in arathi highlands it saw about 200 players come together and fight for a good 2 or 3 hours. It was all pre arranged by forum posts, but the turnout was fairly good, and for me, a level 30ish player who had never been to a BG it felt amazing. The ebb and flow was wonderfull, first the allies are forced back into refuge point, then gradually gain the upperhand and force the horde right back to... damn whats the name of that horde base near there?
Another time that springs to mind was just a few weeks ago in AV. i was told to ninja iceblood GY so i stealthed in with another rogue. He mounted and ran, pulling the gaurds, allowing me to tag the post then restealth. Along came a mage who i sapped, followed shortly after by a shammy, who i also sapped before blinding the mage. Once the mage came round from the blind the obligitory AOE spam ensued. I stayed out of the way, and at the first opportunity resapped and turned on the shammy, laying into him with cheapshot and sinister strikes, but oh no!! diminishing returns meant the mage was back in the fight. the aoe spam started once more, rooting me to the ground and forcing a vanish/sprint as i took heavy damage. All seemed lost and then.... The cavelry arrived, just in the nick of time, riding up the hill to save my 3ft tall ass and take Iceblood. Victory soon followed and ive been hooked on AV ever since.

I was on my 1st char, Satisguard a human warrior, he was 45 at the time. I was in IF just chillin'.
Saw spam in the lfg channel "lf tank SM plz!" for the 30th time from someone, looked like he'ed been begging for 30 mins or so, so I sent him a whisper "I'ld do it". He invited me and was happy. Group had 2 in SM, me and the other 2 used fp to Southshore, 2 I was with headed due North out of SS, toward the cave, saw a group of horde about 25-35 , 3 of them and they attacked them. I run up to get ready to assist when omg right in front of me a ?? ud priest. Knowing me and my bud dead if I dont I charge hit him with everything I can (was in battle stance) he dots me and runs around, heads south near the road, I get a lucky overpower and than execute, miss, execute, miss, he tries to cast something, execute, hit! He dies. I Backup, eat, look to the team hud to see how my buds are doing, and the priest uses a soulstone! A bit off guard I get ready to charge him, he dots me fears and mounts! I was like huh? he has me at 1/2? I run after him switching to beserker stance, use a greater rage pot, just get into intercept range... BAM! got him stunned hit a crit normal attack , and next he was dead... proud of myself now with 8% health left, that shadowword : pain was pwn'ing me, I turn around to see 25 or so horde in a line behind me... yes I did say "Oh #$%^ !" as I got hit by 3 ranged spells at once, but still taking out a lvl 55-60'ish ud priest 2 times in a row like that was sweet.

Setting: lvl 60 AB
me: Warlock
buds: NE priest, and Human Rogue
Location: Gold Mine
The three of us were told to take the gold mine and then guard it. So we did unoppossed. The NE and the Rogue both stand behind me and stealth, shadowmeld for the NE. I move into the middle of the road and stand there with my succy out invisible.
From the horde side here comes a lone Orc warrior on his mount. He sees only me and stops at the top of the hill. I decide to wave to him.
He rides down the hill, dismounts and charges me. As soon as he stuns me, my succy gets her seduce cast.
NE Priest, and Rogue destealth and proceed to go to town. I only have enough time to get a shadowburn off to get the Killing Blow.
Two mins later, same Orc warrior comes down the hill again, alone. Same results.
Two mins later, same Orc warrior comes down the hill with two buddies. Now its an epic battle. However, the warrior wants revenge on me. He charges me, I get seduce again. Seduce lasts longer than charge stun. I back up, Curse of Elements, Soul Fire(2.5k damage), fear, he goes to zerk stance breaks fear, as he runs to get into intercept range I get corruption, curse of agony and an immolate off before I am intercepted. Succy is hitting him, I cast conflagurate, death coil and shadow burn.
Dead Orc warrior.
Then I get attacked by a UD rogue and a preist I dont last long.
This happened 2 days ago. As a lvl 60 Horde Rogue I had decided to go to Eastern Plaguelands to kill some Plaguebats and check their drop rate of Evil Bat Eyes (for the Darkmoon Faire rep.).
And so I did - and I had a good time...even though some of the bats turned out to be noxious and crippled me during most fights. But before I called it a day, I decided to kill some lvl 59/60 mobs located just close to the flight path in EP to check their loot. I started my first kill on a lvl 60 mob without being at full health. When I finished him I had about 1/3 life left. During the fight I spotted an Alliance Priest...he had been a witness to my fight. I did what I usually do in these occasions, I take no notice, or I give him/her a wave if I can. But this smartass of a Priest...he puts a DoT on me just the moment I finish my mob. And then an instant spell. In that split of a second I am down to about 5% life. I am almost completely dead, as in very deceased, gone to see my maker.
At that moment, when my life's memories flashes through my brain I suddenly come to think of a Christmas present I had in my backpack - my Mechanical Greench*. I hade not tested it before, but it was about to expire. So it was time...
That thought was enough to give me hope and strength back. First I gulp down a major healing potion, then I vanish. It doesn't last long, though, because of the DoT that is still on me, so I should probably not have done it. But errors is something that happens during the heat of the fight. Vanishing in difficult situations is a reflex I have...;-)
And then I whistle (yes, it is a whistle sound) my Greench out. The Greench is not very big, but it is very fast. In almost no time it is all over the Priest. And the Priest himself doesn't seem to know how to deal with this "thing". Is it a mob? Is it a pet (but Rogues don't have pets, have they ;-))? First it seems that he considers it to be a normal mob because he starts running to get out of its aggro area. He runs frenetically, and I follow. After a while I can use prep. and vanish again (I could have stealthed if I had waited a bit longer, but wanted to be inv. as fast as possible). After a lot of running the Priest realizes that he has to deal with my Greench. He stops to kill it. It is a fight, but the Priest kills my Greench pretty easliy.
But, aha...I see that his mana is almost empty now. And what is a Priest without his mana? Wait for it...he is dead meat! First I blind him, and then apply first aid to myself (remember that my life was very low, and I could need some during the up-coming fight). I am a dagger-dagger Rogue and I try to get in both ambush and backstab as a starter. But it depends...sometimes I go for stunlock (difficult choice, though). I managed only ambush, but it didn't matter.
The Priest managed to put up an absorbing shield, and off he went again. He was once again on the run. And me after. But I have both sprint and run speed "enchant" on my boots, so he couldn't outrun me. It was not an elegant kill; I run after him and backstab him to death. Even so, this is one of the more rewarding PvP encounters I have had. An Ally playing hard on me, me being almost dead, and then I manage to draw something out of my sleave that saves me by the skin of my teeth.
EDIT: *Mechanical Greench is lvl 58

Realm: Shadowsong, USA
Enemy Faction: Alliance
Location: Sentinel Hill
My guild raided Sentinel Hill Sunday night with 18 guild members; about 8 level 60 and the rest scattered all the way down to level 10. We gathered at the light house, and once there, we all donned Russet hats, blue over-alls, and miscellaneous brown colored gloves and boots. Many of us summoned chicken pets.
In addition, we armed ourselves with Pitchforks, Farmer's Brooms, Clubs + the torch from the ghost at the lighthouse, or the torch from searing gorge. Then we marched on sentinel hill, slowly and chanting "Burn the witch" from time to time in /yell.
Despite our rather, ah, limited arms, we killed the Griffon Master and razed the village. That'll teach the alliance to treat us like peasants.

A solo NE Hunter lvl 39 WSG
My group had found that the horde team had 5 hunters, Natually I knew because I was shadowmeld behind the stomp in front of their base. I caught one that had put his pet to passive after a skirmish with a warrior to let off scattershot. (My pet had the cloak skill forgot what it was...my server down currently) So I aimed shot him and crit for 750(guess he had scrub gear) He goes frantic and tries to target me but I already rapid fire and multi shot him to death with another crit of 450 and a 300 autoshot.
Now 2 hunters pets are after me for the crit so I FD/trap than quickly put my pet to aggressive so I nailed them once again with aimed shot, multi shot and one pet falls into the trap so now they have my location but the one hunter puts his pet to passive for a scattershot and so I just wail on him again and noticed the frozen pet had came back so I scared it off and finally was targeted but I keep multishotting and bout that time 2 hunters were down to a good 20% health and they killed me. My allies came in and just took out those two hunters making it a 7 against 3 zerg into their base to cap the flag.
Lost that match but hey...I had one hell of a time keeping them clueless and confused. >.> But after that stunt I wasn't allowed to be left alone if I was see able that meant I was already targetted and 5 against one started all over again.

Location: Ashenvale
Me: Level 30 paladin
Others: 2 orcs
Well, I was near Astranaar in Ashenvale when this level 28 orc warlock came up to me and started doing the *chicken* emotes, spitting on me repeatedly, slapping my face, etc. etc. Then he went PvP. I stood there looking at him for a couple of minutes, then I turned my character around and there was a level 60 Orc warrior standing about 30 feet behind me. Just waiting for me to toggle on PvP.
I went on my way, and the level 28 followed me, spitting, making rude gestures, mooning me, and so on. But after a minute or two, I noticed that his buddy had gotten on his epic mount and left.
I stopped in the road, turned to the orc, waved /bye, and turned around like I was going to go on my way. But I just turned all the way back and went for him. He was so startled that I got in a Hammer of Justice on him right away, and started chopping him to bits with Seal of Command. He totally panicked, forgot to summon anything, and actually RAN. On top of it, he ran right up against a tree and got stuck there, flailing around trying to run away while I killed him.
Best yet, I hid behind that very same tree, and sure enough, about a minute later, his level 60 buddy showed up and started looking for me. I watched him look EVERYWHERE except behind the tree where his buddy had been killed. When my PvP wore off (I'm on a PvE server) I sauntered out, /bowed, /waved, /saluted, and went on my merry way.
Priceless! :-)

LvL 32 NE Rogue
Let's see, well first off I am into this about... 2 weeks at most so I'm a bit noob but I've been working on a Night Elf Rogue build that is called a "Stun Rogue" I think? Anyways, I had just headed out to Desolace and was working on farming my faction for the centaurs there. I had just finished fighting several mobs and was at 300ish HP. All of a sudden this 40 orc warrior comes flying in over a small hill he was hiding behind. His stun move hit me and he got a crit for 170, I am now at 130ish HP (Not even 15 minutes before this I had bought 2x Murphstars of the Monkey ditching my swords) I turned around and figured what the hell, might as well go down fighting. My Gouge lands with a crit, my next swing the stun on my maces goes off, I sinister strike and it goes off AGAIN, another few SS's and he is STILL stunned and I'm still at 130ish HP. Long story short I continue to SS him saving my CPs for Kidney shot incase he comes out of the stun but it went off enough times that I beat on him for a good 30 seconds without him waking up once. Talk about falling in love with maces :) :) Of course that has not ever happened again but what the hell, it was definitly something I think I'll never forget :) :)
P.S. I actualy felt bad for the poor guy even though he was being incredibly low down and dirty with that little trick. This still did not stop me from laughing so hard I nearly (No joke) peed my pants.
Favorite moment #2
This is no where near as exciting as my first, but it was pretty fun. A few levels later (34 I think) I was again in Desolace truckin through the... desert I suppose you could call it, and yet another warrior, level 42 this time charges me and procedes to land a crit that left me about 35-40% HP. I vanish, sprint, and get the hell out of there as quickly as I can. Well by this time I'm pretty pissed at these people killing me when there realy is no point at that level gap. So I decide I'm going to kill him. No idea how yet, but damnit he is gonna die! Well I follow him for a good 45 mins keeping my distance and watching him kill some stuff. Eventualy he heads towards Nijel's Pointe and starts the Greenskin quests where you gaurd him from the centaurs. I could not have asked for a better oportunity. I wait till he hits the first set of centaurs. They get him down to 50-60% health. I stealthed in and CS, SS, Gouge... let energy build, SS, 5pt KS, Blade Fury and went to town on him. He died shortly thereafter. Ahhh sweet revenge... Oh and after he came back and ressurected I stealthed around emoting /rude watching him ran franticly around looking for me. At this point I was feeling a little bold so I unstealthed close by and hit sprint running right past his face landing a gouge without even stopping and continued to haul my butt back to Nijel's Pointe :) :)

I had a good one in AB the other night. Am a 47 Warlock focused on Demonology. Was at the Blacksmith with my Succy out and we'd just taken it. I saw some allies in the distance and led the charge. Only to see a mass of allies coming up the hill. I spin around and see much back-up behind me. So I start back peddling and walking slowly backwards to asses the situation. The next thing I know a 49 Night Elf warrior has charged me and stunned me and in a matter of seconds reduced my health to less than 1/4. Desperately waiting for the stun affect to die I send my succy in to start hitting him. Hit Curse of Shadow, Corruption and Death Coil. As he runs in terror I load up a Shadow Bolt that crits him for 580. Quickly use a Healthstone and am back up to full health. He's down to to under 1/5. Quick searing pain and he drops.
What I loved most about this encounter was the fact that he practically got me. Took me down to under 1/4 health only for me to steal his life with Death Coil, crit with a Shadow Bolt and then Healthstone myself back to full health. I could just imagine the dissappointment on his face when he attacks a squishy for an easy kill only to to lose all his life in a matter of seconds and me to get all my life back  I enjoyed that one!
And in the same battle I met a Dwarf Priest who was stubbornly healing all tanks and rogues and causing us much grief at the Lumber Mill. I didn't see him first but he saw me. He must have switched to Shadow Form cause Shadow Word:Pain hit me. I hit Shadow Ward and negated the damage from this spell and then saw him. Targetted him (he was 43 so maybe at 47 it was unfair fight but I enjoyed killing him!) hit Curse of Tongues and Corruption as I ran closer to him. Sent in the succy to start pummeling on him and stood still to cast Immolate. The priest then saw he was in trouble and turned tail to run and flee. His life was ticking down fast but not fast enough to kill him before he got away. So I chased and quickly hit Curse of Shadow as I ran after him and then Death Coil. Taking advantage of him being in a feared state for 3 seconds I loaded up my 3 second cast Shadow Bolt to get the killing blow. No more annoying priest healing the big damage dealers.
This battle we run and eventually it got to the point where we had all the bases and were killing the alliance as they ressed out of the Graveyard. Much fun was had by all. Well. All Horde  And for the first time ever I not only got most HK's I also got most KB's. Hk's were 52 and killing blows were 21. That Shadow bolt hurts and if you get it off at the right moment you will often land the killing blow! I love my lock for stubbornly refusing to die when faced by overwhelming odds. Death Coil, Healthstones and Drain Life have saved my life no end of times and Curse of Shadow is beautiful seeing as it makes so many of my spells more efficient! And big up to the Bad Mojo Mask! +25 Shadow Damage! Rock on!

ok i know this thread is old but I just had to share my story.
46 GNOME warrior vs 52 Undead Rogue
so Im sitting on my computer upstairs....grinding ogres in tanaris...when all of a sudden my mouth feels parched. I go downstairs for a glass of coca cola...and wow was it refreshing. So Im still afk upstairs, and about 5 minutes have passed by. Keep in mind that I was also alt+tabbed out to check my Aim messages. I return to my computer...and around 7 minutes have now passed by. I press both alt and tab at the same time, just to return to a 52 rogue desperately trying to kill me. Damnit, I was certain I was going to die. I had to do something. All of these damn skills, and I dont know which one to use. Im at 50% health now, and I'm having the worse brain fart ever. Im still taking the damage like a man. 40%...30%...I have to do something fast...then it hits me. 3 rows up, 4 buttons to the right later, I click on the retaliation skill. 25% now. I turn around and gave him a mortal strike....then a heroic strike...it was amazing! I critted every single hit, and I **** you not this fight was over in about 7 seconds from the time I hit retaliation. I was in complete Awe. I was happy. I was alive and he was dead.

hehe when i was a 17 paladin i took a 19 warrior.
He was just standing there (obviously talking or something) so i came up behind hmi and started beating on him, he turned around and i hammered :P then i continued to beat on him. By this stage he got me to 1/2 health and he was also on 1/2 health so i do a quick flash of light then hit himma few more times then bubble and heal to full :). Suffice to say he died.
I know it's not an exciting kill but it was my first in PvP and has stayed with me till now :) great fun.

Encounter #2. Now playing on a pvp server, orc warrior. Questing in Stonetalon mts up on general chat comes a request from a troll mage that is looking for a lvl 27 pally who will not play fair. Whatever that means. I am intending to ignore his request until the red lettering comes across my screen. Hey thats the one he was asking about. Quick message in general, I get invited to a group and off I go to see who this person is.
Well she is 3 levels higher than I. So I am not going to attack until my new buddy shows up.
"Hammer of Justice crits you for 450" ahh too late she saw me. Three crits later I am dead. Ok no bigge. I come back to my body and rez. She is no where to be found.
Now my friend is with me. We are talking and looking around for her. When over the hill I see her greifing a lvl 19 hunter.
My turn, charge, hamstring, run behind her, rend, demo shout, she spins around, disarm, heroic strike, thunderclap... now here is the funny part. She starts to heal herself because she is now down to 5% health. I have a full rage bar so what do you think I did? Yep you got it "Tollin's execute crits for 300." One dead paladin.
Here comes my buddy the mage laughing.
ahhh open world pvp is awesome!

I have a pretty well decked out orc hunter on Kalecgos.
Running through STV one day on the way to a raid in lakeshire I got attacked by a dwarven paladin.
A level 4 dwarven paladin... I put my pet on passive and /cried while the naked paladin pummeled me for all he was worth. then I wing clipped him and ran away.

There is nothing better than finding a jerk who doesn't fight fair and putting your fist down their throat. Good story Tollin.
Mine isn't quite so impressive, but I still did the fist pump after... AOE grinding farmers in arathi highlands as a 33 mage, 35 warrior charges in when I'm at 20% health/mana. Blink sheep run to de-aggro. Come back sheep again. Bandage Evocation. Fireball PoM Fireball Scorch Fireblast, FN, Fireball, Scorch, CoC, GG.
I love arcane.

48 NE Rogue (Me) Vs. 60 UD Mage
So im grinding in the Hinterlands and all of a sudden I get hit with a polymorph... Flipping my camera around I see a mage prepping to cast a fireball of some sort (Never played a mage dunno what it's called) so I quickly used my trinket to dispell the morph, hit sprint, Blade Fury and Adrenaline. Even with sprint his fireball got off right as I Kicked him taking me from 2000ish hp down to around 1000. Only then did I see that he was a 60 in a few pieces of Epic gear, crap... I'm so dead... Then, according to the amount of time left on my Adrenaline timer we fought for about 8 seconds. I threw 6-7 Sinister Strikes and one Eviscerate while he drinks a potion. Much to my surprise, and his I think, he was dead within those 8 seconds. I had thrown a string of crits for 300-450 and 900+ evis with my Crusader proccing what must have been every hit (I have it on both weps) as I had a full health bar at the end of the fight. I did an average of 800 DPS in that fight! Well it will probably never happen again, but it was priceless when he came back, ressed, /gasped and /bowed mounted and left. I sat staring at my computer for a few minutes still to shocked to do anything and eventualy burst out laughing so hard it brought tears to my eyes, and made my stomache cramp <LOL> I have only been playing since the beggining of January and I only have one thing to say, I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

but you know what rlly makes people cry? 2.2k earthshock crits :D

I'm a shadow priest, my friend is a frost mage.
About 10 levels ago, I'm 42 now. I was hunting around Desolace when 3 alliance pounce on a friend and me and they kill us both. We're around level 35 they're about 40ish.
When I come back to my corpse I see they are camping us but they are all sitting together in a little bunch drinking. I rez right in the middle of all of them and fear them. and then start booking towards Ghost walker post.
One of them is mounted so luckily I've spent talent points in fear, my friend in frost nova.
So the chase begins, them following us halfway across desolace right to the gates of Ghost Walker post. I guess we got lucky because my fears and his traps were not being resisted. We safely made it to GWP and with the help of the guards took them out. Then we corpse camped them until they rezed at the spirit healer.
I love it because not only did we get HKs for players quite a few levels higher than us, but we wasted a good amount of their time which is always a plus!
When I was still 45 , I headed to STV to try out the Gurubashi Arena thing. On my way to the arena , a level 52 priest challenged me to a duel. He casts PW:S and then immedietly MC me to a bunch of Trolls. I only lost about 20% of my hp before the MC was off. All the trolls got off me and went for the priest:wink: . I ended up winning the duel:grin:

Some of you might not like this but this is THE funniest thing I have done in WOW.
My guild buddies and i get on the boat from BB to Ratchet. The 4 non rogues hide in the compartments so the horde can't see us while our lvl 52 rogue cloaks himself. A lvl 44 orc walks on. The boat pulls off...our rogue saps him and we kill him. We jump off the boat laughing our heads off as we swim back to shore. We wait for the next boat go to BB.
A couple of minutes later a certain Orc comes into BB. He come to the tunnel we all pile into him. We then run and jump into thye water to escape the bruisers. We laugh.
We go back to the entrance where a certain orc has just ressed we kill him and jump into the water. We then tire of this and head back over to Ratchet. To attack X roads (5 men lasted longer than you would think) we then return to ratchet. As we come to harbour in BB our rogue sees a certain Orc again. He cloaks and we run and hide. He comes aboard and we kill him again.
Yes highly immature but very funny. If you are that Orc on The Venture Co server... In retrospect I'm sorry.
