awesome...
uhh, yeah sorry i keep trying to clear everything with everybody, thats just the way i work, cause i dont want to walk in out of nowhere and mess up the greater plan or anything...
so i've read a little bit here and there... i know you guys are heading to tyr's hand. and i'm asuming it has something to do with the supposed attack on dalaran by the Scarlets. which brings up a question... "What time period are we in, because since the start of the third war dalaran has been kinda wrecked, and to this day in in world of warcraft, i belive, allthough i havent played any time recently, that the dalaran shield is still up. so i was just hoping someone could clarify that for me, i doesnt change anything, i just like details." my next guess, is that if you are indeed going to tyr's hand, that your plan is to kick the snot out of the scarlets... so my idea, due to the emotinal instability of character, is that he's a scarlet initiate... waitwait, hear me out. he joined because he belived that they shared similar goals, the whole destroying evil and everything, he learned quickly of the corruption of the scarlet crusade but couldn't bring himself to leave because being one of them, meant that he was, at least, a part of something. and kain wasnt about to give up that acceptance that he had so dearly longed for since the third war had barely even started... lol, so yeah, i'm hoping for some crazy climactic battle where kain can switch sides and cause hell for the scarlets and all that jazz...
so, yeah, just a thought... allthough if i have the whole situation confused i'm gonna feel preatty stupid:grin:
P.S. if that was your general idea, to kick some scarlets, and it doesnt quite go that way, well, i guess i've got some interesting wrighting to do:tongue:

Well firstly, see this world as some other version. I have stated alot of times that we are not in any way following strickt wow-lore. Our characters can do things they are not supposed to be able to do in the game, (Tallian has healing abilities etc). And Dalaran was rebuilt after Arthas trechery. As for our plans.. I have no idea what will happen when we reach tyr´s hand as thats Izmaes plan to begin with, Tallian is just hanging alone in search for an ending, or a beginning. But if you want to be part of the crusade then maybe we can do so that we stumble over a patrol of them or something. It is widely known that the scarlets attack everything that moves, and in that battle you get hurt and we sort of capture you, (unwillingly of course).
That is just one idea, and we still have a few posts to write before we even reach western plaguelands.

In fact, Izmae and I have been up to something like a run-in with a patrol soon enough. Remember that Scrawny mage from dalaran who almost killed Tallian with a fireball and then we captured him, but decided he got away somehow?
We thought that he'd warn Tyr's hand beforehand and therefore get a scarlet force on us. As for that climatic-ness, Kainen, let's just say that there are more plans involved in that fight than one might think at first...

Is it possible for you to tell me what the two of you have been discussing? theres nothing more annoying then poking a stick into someones plan just because you lacked information.
KainenFrost
14-06-2007, 08:35 PM
another version... nice, so in otherwards we can basically screw up whatever we want? within reason of course
Icefrost
14-06-2007, 08:42 PM
Eh, not really. For example, Dalaran being rebuilt is really something that would've eventually happened anyways. Try to think of this as "some years after what you see in WoW".
The only real change that makes this 'another version' is the fact that the portal to outland has not been opened and the exodar hasn't crashed on azeroth either. So basically pre-tbc.

hmm, well then. allright sounds good... i guess i'm just waiting for an opening to stick my guy in.

We are all waiting for Izmae to come back online so we can continue. That fight with scarlet folks we spoke of earlier should be coming up pretty soon, so there might be your opening.

also hunter? well my spider will roleplay the hell out of your pet :p
Icefrost
15-06-2007, 08:17 PM
Not hunter, no. But a druid of a rather similar 'traveler of the wilds' -mindset. And that's not all of it. Also a rogue...see these:
Cailea (http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3857129&postcount=406)
Valen (http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3965942&postcount=467)
I also updated Cailea's character sheet at some point to make it more specific. Link to that here:
Updated (http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3880119&postcount=416)
Also, notice that some things have been modified a bit from the original to better fit the flow of the story, such as the "mysterious young man" was actually just a young boy to be exact, since it was Valen(the rogue I play), who is only a few years older than Cailea. And a few other details.

should i repost enalia's profile here? or wanna go back to the beginning again?
Icefrost
15-06-2007, 09:09 PM
Well, 'going to the beginning' I spotted quite a few versions of your character sheet and am not sure which one of them is the most applicable, so you might want to repost it if you are joining again.
As for the story, how much have you read of what has happened since you and the others stopped posting? Because there is quite a lot there.
Either way, I'm not going to go out of my rights to give you the go, but instead advise to wait for Shanda.

Welcome everyone!!
I see you have built an outstanding story: It was impressive, what I have read through all these more than 10 pages!!
For the first time since long, I will have time to post some reply. As I see, my character (and those who were managed by me, as their owner has quit for long time) have been tacitly abandoned in the storyline. I do not plan for the priestess to appear suddenly 'out of nowhere' of course, but will think of a good explanation.
I think it might have have something to do with some secret agents of Dalaran (operatives for the Guardians of Tirisfal) - something that Arinnaya's mother had some horrid experience with. (notice that this is just a sketch: I am open for any ideas to incorporate)
Good Night and Good Role-playing for all!!
PS: An' Ariye Thala'na !! (The Light Guides Us - in Thalassian)

Well all "older" characters exept Tallian is considered dead in the fires that burned down the tavern in Dalaran. That is atleast what Tallian belives, it was the easiest way to cut threads I never thought would come back again :o
But anyway. Arinnaya and Electro as you are comming back I would loike the two of you to move up your character sheets so our newer writers dont have to look around the whole thread after them, And also as you said Arinnaya. A very thought through way of comming back will be needed. Also the plot has sort of changed completely and this new turn is what we will keep to until we have reached Tyr´s hand, and seen and done what will happen there.
Also it would be good if you could fit in Arcantis and Norks deaths, Bradors also I guess (in the flames) in your "return" posts as thats where I want them to (die) if not they also decides to return all of ey sudden.
Im somewhat sleepy also, but I will answer any questiongs and wonderings after ive had a nights sleep.

name: Enalia Naëndel
race: Night elf
class: Hunter
Looks: feint purple skin, dark blue hair, silvery eyes, put in an armour of green mail, 2 axes on the side ready for combat, and a composite longbow and quiver on the back
Allignment: neutral good
history:
Enalia lived in Teldrassil for only a short time (in elvish years). in human years she was 23 when she left the home-region in search for new adventures. Now she travels together with her pet spider Actaron to see the world.
On her trips, she discovered a sacred place where spider were praised. Actaron was loyal to her and stayed by her side instead of rushed into a group of fellow 8-legged beasts. the spiders were eating something that ressembled a dwarf of some kind. Actaron was brave enough to lure the other spiders away so Enalia could see what the spiders were eating. her guess was right, it was a dwarf. now he was dead so his gear doesn't have any value for him. Enalia took it eand so got 2 axes and a nice new composite longbow. as she left, she whistled and Actaron came rushing by in a few seconds. the group of spiders didn't care for Enalia or Actaron anymore and focussed on the dwarf again. As they travelled onwards and onwards, they encountered a blacksmith in the total wilderness. He sold some of the finest armors in the entire world as we know it. she bought a beautiful green armor and a pair of matching boots. they went on there way again, in teh direction of Hillsbrad, because there was something, something ment to happen there. and they arrived at the inn.

Arinnaya
16-06-2007, 09:52 AM
Just for a quick refresh, I am reposting the charsheet:
Name : Arinnaya
Age : 25
Race and class : Human priestess, devout follower of the Holy Light
Appearence : She has a tall and slender form: it would seem at first sight, that she is rather weak, but her eyes tell of more strength of soul coming from within. though she usually welcomes strangers with smile, rather than a grim look. Her hair is brownish, with a slight tint of red colour, with skin white as snow.
Loyalty : Elves of any kind are always heartly welcome, so do Dwarves, and kin. Paladins always earn a special respect - like a brother.
Though she is a member of the Alliance, she feels nothing bad about Orcs, and their kin. Once upon a time, when she was forced to spend a night on the Barrens, she met an orkish Shaman by pure accident - already a clan elder and a respected grandfather - who, being unexpectedly friendly, forever changed her view about Orcs. After learning that the Orcs saved the word, she even feel with repect towards Thrall, though she barely knows Tauren or Trolls.
The only race she hates passionately are Undead. No matter if forsaken or scourge, they will never earn any trust. But Arinnaya is not a fervid fighting-type, and if she meets undead, that does not seem openly hostile, she usually leaves them in peace.
Equipment : A nice-looking robe, painted into levander-colour, and decorated rich in runes. She is proud of her tailoring skill (that was actually a family heritage), and always repairs her clothes herself. It is no coincidence, that her family name is Goldweaver - well, she usually does not use that name, beacuse: "If anyone hears my name, they will immediately offer me some "good sales", for the name if my family has a rather good sound in the ears of merchants.."
Arinnaya also owns a rather mage-like staff, that was earned as a tribute by her services to travellers. It is some kind of voodoo-staff once used by the dark trolls - but even the Bishop of Stormwind assured that there is no harm using such a doubtful artefact - as long as she uses it for good purpose, and not to summon dark spirits, as the trolls intended it to be.
She also wears a tiara-like circlet, decorated with gems: this expensive piece was given her by her father, as a gift. Even the gnomish jeweller of Ironforge told her, he rarely sees such "beauties": Did you know, that some of these small moonstones can only be found in Kalimdor? , when she gave it him for repairs.
Special posessions :
(1) the Ring of the Dragons . A mysterious artefact, that was bought long ago from a merchant, who put it on sale, unbeknownst of the true power within. It hails from Gilneas, that thing is sure, and the only thing. No 1 ever knows the use of that ring. Only one person discipled enough in magical lore has seen it so far: an Archmage, refugee of Dalaran. He told, that "though the ring radiates magic, it is impossible to tell the usage, or the origins of this artefact". When Arinnaya received it, it appeared as an ordinary ring, with an image of a black dragon graved into the surface, and the Rune-inscription, reading "Neltharion". Strangely enough, the artefact sometimes changes its appearance. When Arinnaya looked upon it, on her way from Menethil to Ironforge, the image of the dragon was red, and the inscription was to be read as "Alextrasza". She also glanced upon the ring when in Ashenvale: the inscription was "Yshera", and the dragon was coloured in green. At Tanaris, the image changed to bronze, and "Nozdromu" was written around it. Now she is pretty sure, that if she had tried it in Azshara, the dragon would turn blue, and it would depict Malygos. However, even with this discovery, the ring is more mysterious than it was before.
(2) The Book of the Naga : on her journies, Arinnaya walked into a tavern, that shortly before, served as a temporarily shelter for a Naga Sea Witch. The bartender thought Arinnaya might be a mage (judging only from outlook), and lended this strange book to her, telling, that it has been left there accidentally by the Sea Witch. Arinnaya immediately knew she discovered something too interesting to leave there, She asked to receive the book "for just an hor to study", and she immediately left the building through the hind door, knowing that the nagas won't be oberjoyed, if they would discover the loss of that precious thing. Later, further examining the book, she learned a few things. The whole book is written in Naga (Nazjatari) language, so it is hard to understand. But it uses the widely-known Runescript, and the Naga language is just an offspring of the elven ones. Arinnaya, already fluent at Thalassian, could thus decipher a few phrases and headings. The whole book is about magic, though it is not a spellbook. It contains many information about ancient curses... as if the writer knew what happened to the Naga, when the Well of Eternity exploded. It also contains quite a bit of ancient history, from the long-lost Kaldorei civilisation. It mentions several types (as castes) of Elves. The Highborne, as the highest ranking Elves, are usually mentioned as "Golden ones" in that book. The commoner Night Elves are featured with the adjective "Silver Elves" . However, the book also mentions the "Bronze ones", and at this point, noone would know, what are they referring to... An extict type of elves.. or just the trolls, living in a symbiotic relationship withElves those days?? No one knew, not even the Wise of Darnassus. Clearly, this book is far more mysterious, than being easily deciphered by any scholar, save the Nagas themselves... Only They know about the secrets sunken long ago...
(3) Quel'sin, the Elven Amulet : this is perhaps her most "precious" item: she always wears it, though never shows it anyone: Not really a magical artefact, it was given her as a gift by Eilythriande, upon her departure. It is an about 3-inch large, single gem, heart-shaped, and glimmering as if a diamond, containing a tiny drop from the Waters of Eternity. It used to be of golden colour, but nowadays it's red, deep red..
Backstory : Born in Gilneas under the name Leyla Goldweaver, shortly before the outbreak of the 2nd war. Third child of a well-off family: her mother was a tailor, and her father was a merchant. After the Horde was defeated, she accompanied her father along the long journies. Having the rare luck of spending much of her childhood in the magical Quel'Thalas, she met a young high elf named Eilythriande Aryalinn, with whom they became lifelong friends.
But the terrible turn of events shattered all that past: She was just on her way home to Gilneas, when she heard the news of Arthas murdering his own father and folks. She managed to stay away the reach of the plague, however. Being already at home, when she received the sad news of Arthas leading the scourge against Quel'Thalas, where Eilythriande fell bravely, fighting at the first lines. Harbouring kinder emotions toward her friend, the feeling of unquenchable vengeance filled her heart. She went to the headquarters of the Silver Hand , to volunteer as a Paladin: however, she was found physically too weak. Then, still burning with desire to fight the undead, she travelled to Stormwind, and joined the order of Holy Light. Learning much of the elven lore, she even took up a Quel'Dorei name 'Arinnaya' ( meaning 'Divine Sun' in Thalassian), to honour the High elven origins of the cult, and her fallen friend.
Thereafter, many things changed. After purifying her heart from the darker feelings, she decided to live for just the holy path: to avoid being turned to the darkside, like Arthas was. Now, after completing the training for a new priest, she set out for adventuring around the word. After learning about many things around the word, she is even more deeplyinterested in one aspect- Lore and knowledge of all the divine powers and history of the word. She beacme fascinated by the Night Elven church of Elune - so she spent several month at Darnassus and Moonglade , just to study their traditions. Always ready to accompany a traveller's group just to lend some aid and learn stories, she is ready to go, wherever fate takes her - well, as long as she does not wish to settle down ,and found her own family.
Poor Arinnaya, she does not even suspect what happened really to her beloved Eilythriande...

It works, although I find it pretty amazing how you can set up camp in the ruins of a building in the middle of a large city such as Dalaran and not be spotted or having people come over to question you :p. Despite that it works, just dont be to swift in getting to us, we have a sort of bigger event planned and until after that it would just mess things up if you cought up to us.

Sorry for the delay, this weekend was a meet-up for my guild, and now i have a horrible cough (not helped greatly by the lingering hangover :p).
In any case welcome back electro and arinnaya!
In relation to my most recent post, a few points to avoid confusion...
I had planned to have the climax of our journey to Tyr's Hand here.
The force will be sizable, but not so big as to rule out survival.
The mage from Dalaran should be the one making the force invisible, and should also die in the ensuing fight. This means that the evidence I'm looking for to connect the Scarlet Crusade and the Council can be found on his person later (meaning we wouldn't have to elaborately plan how to infiltrate Tyr's Hand itself). I think these are the only things that need to be mentioned, anything else you are free to customise as you wish! :)
After this is finished with it should leave us free to meet up with Enalia and Arinnaya soon afterwards, and from there we can move on as a whole group to pursue...whatever you want really! I hadn't really planned on much more from my personal story past this point; usually the quest changes quite a bit when there's more than one author! Soo..
When we meet up I might send Rowen back to Dalaran; one of the reasons for including him was to bulk up the group a bit, which we no longer really need. Besides it would make sense for someone to be looking for evidence to incriminate the Council from inside the city. If anyone wants him to stay then shout, but if not then he'll be moved into the background.
As a side note, you may notice I'm not one for meticulous planning of my future posts - I tend to assist in others rather than extending my own. So does anyone have a plan as to what will happen next? Any aspects of my story additions that would help you're more than welcome to experiment with, but you all surely must have plans for your own additions to the overall story...?
lordy that was much longer than I'd planned!

Actually, I find Tyr's hand a nice place to adventure... Just don't forget the real world is MUCH larger that that of WOW. So somehow we must press that it takes several days' of worth walk from Dalaran to Andorhal.. then another day or two to Corin's crossing and then to the ruins of Stratholme (especially if you don't have a horse). Does not matter if you jump the journey as long as it was relatively eventless. just try to make it feel as if it indeed took that much...
As for Tyr's Hand, I have though of someting special for myself. Now that you reach it first, I will share it with you, so you may incorporate the concept.
Inside Tyr's hand, there stands a cathedral... centuries old, much earlier than the date when the orcs came into this world. It survived the ravages of the second war, and remained intact, while all the land turned into rancid and cursed after the Undead have taken the land, bit by bit.
Naturally, around such holy places, legends abound, and it isn't different with Tyr's hand, too. Our heroes do not know, or suspect even, but in a hidden chamber of the temple, there exists an ancient relic, the Holiest of Holies. By its insignificant outlook, no one could fathom its power or significance - indeed it looks like some broken wood of unkonwn sort- with metal ornaments and handle, that never rust, and even now, after thousands of years, glimmer with unearthly light...
Once met, Arinnaya might be able to tell more of the legend - a story not even believed by the faithful...
Of course, it will be just a teaser to start an interesting questline..!
As for the Priestess, to gain some advance, it might be a good idea to let us ask around Dalaran, then march into the lands of death carelessly... Just see what happens to careless wanderers who dare to enter the realm of the Scourge..!

As a sidenote. If you have a plan for a plot after Tyr´s hand id love to hear about it in a more vivid way. As I also have a few plans for what might happen after that. But anyway we still have alot of writing to do before we reach such a point.
So alittle about the comming events, atleast for the larger group. Soon we will get ambushed/attacked/poked, or whateva by a large group of scarlets. After that the group (might) get a new member and will split up to go different ways, as a side effect from the battle. This splitting will be a good way for some nice "sideplots" that might occur *grins*.
*EDIT!!* Arinnaya! its not good that last post of yours, Dalaran is completely rebuilt in this my version of azeroth. That has been stated so many times now, so please do something about that. Write about high walls, crowded street and guards wearing the violet eye instead of ruins that dosen´t exist

Hey folks, been reading for a while now and thought I should toss my hat into the ring to get involved, and since some of the players are in a town now, perhaps it is a ripe time to do so, however I was wondering, since the STF thread didn't mention this (and seems slightly out of date) are you allowing multiple of the same kind of races and classes?

Well so far we have four(five?) humans with two of them being mages and three night elves, all of them being of different trades, and that's only counting currently active characters, so I guess we do allow what you said.
However, you should come up with a character sheet and post it here so we can see what you are up to and Shanda, the boss around here, can give you the green light if he thinks so.

Class- Ranger, Think of a combination of the Rouge and hunter classes, but without the extreme stealth of the rouge, and the Beast taming of a hunter, so he's dead shooty, and dead choppy, but without the strength of the stealth attacks, and the beasts. Think Aragorn, kinda.
Appearance- long dark hair bound at the back of his head with a black ribbon, frames a handsome face that in turn house vibrant dark eyes, his handsome features, coupled with his natural Charisma has led him into awkward situations several times. His smile is roguish, and handsome all at once, his body is one of someone who has spent time training in combat and the martial sciences, but not to the degree of a warrior.
Equipment- Quinn's continued survival, seems to hinge upon his quick wit and intelligence, coupled with some stellar abilities, however this does not seem to be reflected in his equipment, and old weatherproof cloak, worn leather jerkin over a mail shirt, some leather or hide pants. Now as you and I can both tell, that honestly, the appearances of Quinns gear is deceiving, in actuality, his gear is strong, powerful gear, but it would seem old and battered to anyone but he. He carried a pair of swords at his hips and a fine Crafted bow, that both too seem to live up to the "battered" illusion that Quinn creates, looking more like a rough hewn bow and a pair of dull swords.
Backstory- Quinn's Father was a well known hunter in the lands of The alliance, his mother, however, is another matter. His mother is actually, a blood elf. Yes, one of the horde, like Romeo and Juliet before them, Quinn's mother and father were war separated lovers. Their attraction is something that really cannot be explained, but it was so, they bore a son, Quinn. Knowing their love was forbidden, they knew that the three of them could never truly be a family. So they decided that it would be better for their son, if he never knew them, and that meant leaving him to an orphanage, and given that on his birth, he looked more human than elfin, they decided that Stormwind was the place for him
Of course Quinn knows nothing of this, his first memory is waking up in the arms of one of the sisters that ran the orphange, just after she found him on their doorstep. The sisters at the orphanage tried, as they did with all their wards, to spread the word of light, but Quinn never responded, he never seemed interested. The sisters surmised he was bored because he was looking for something more challenging, and had him report to the college of magic for testing, It was founfd that Quinn had some innate ability for the magical crafts, but they bored him too..
During this time Quinn had become somewhat of a troublemaker, always breaking out of his room after curfew or found making fun of other orphans at the home. One night, having snuck from his room after lights out, he made his way around town and found himself watching several of the guards of Stormwind spar and train, instantly he was mesmerized. When he brought this fascination to the attention of the sisters, they told him that he was not yet of age to study for the guard, but this did nto deter Quinn, packing what few possessions he had he broke out of the Orphanage that night and never went back, where he went after that his not exactly known, all that is known, is that since, quinn has been spotted in settlements all over the world, often in trouble for seducing the wrong woman, or finding himself "liberating" goods to give to the poor. His marksmanship is uncanny and his skill with the blades is high, but he doesn't really like to use them, if he can avoid it, and as such, he uses his fast wit and charisma to talk his way out of a lot of trouble, and as you know with the women, to talk himself INTO trouble as well.

Heya Quinn. It looks good, and extra cred for posting in the ooc thread.. THAT does not happen often. Theres just one thing though, for Quinn to be 29 years old and his parents human/BLOOD elf. Its pretty wild as blood elfs has not been around for 29 years.
Luckily for you Highelve and human relations were considered just as bad. But then again as the time you have to correct posts around here is 1 hour (if you arent a mod) We just have to look past that :)
//
And for everyone else, I still have a few days left on my vacation here in Norway but I will be back posting again soon enough.

Really? Thinking back again, it looks like my characters' backtories might be up for some timing trouble as well. You see Cailea is supposed to be around 27 years old in just regular human years, and both she and Valen are supposed to have been born after the world tree was lost. Not to mention I'm afraid that's something I can't really back off from anymore, as one of the key points with them is that neither of them ever were one of the immortal night elves.

Well basicly "wow" is supposed to start around 4 years after Frozen throne which is just >1 year after Reign of chaos. And in terms on time in wow it has not gone 23+ something years. But in the end it dosent matter that much, backgroundstories are ment to be changed anyway.. I went back and changed MINE for Tallian seeing as it didn`t really fit the present him when I thought about it.
(And yes its kinda crappy that you cant fix your own posts for longer then an hour after the first posting..)
Anyway two days before I get back home, aka two days before I can post again :)

Yeah, start. I guess I kinda assumed more time than that had passed at the start if this story to give a good reason to the changes such as Dalaran having been rebuilt and stuff.

(( Moved from the (RP) therad to here ))
Hey im new here and i know this char is a little late but here it is!
Name: Hal’thes Sunwinder
Race: Quel’Dorei (High Elf)
Age- Self-explanatory. 114
Class- Battle Magi
Appearance- Hal’thes has long blonde hair that stretches down to his mid back and glowing blue eyes. He is medium build, Handsome and tall he is quit fit but not muscular thanks to his teleportation travel. Not many people see his face as he keeps it shrouded in a hood.
Equipment- Hal’thes bears a blue with gold trim plate armored chest, shoulder pads, leggings and boots. He has a long blue/gold cloak with a hood over his face. He also wields a long sword which’s hilt is blue with gold string.
Backstory- Hal’thes grew up in the area which is now known as the Ghostlands. He was always fascinated by magic and the way the elves used it. He couldn’t wait to come of age (which for high elves and blood elves is 110) and be able to use powerful magic.
When Hal’thes was 29 and didn’t know much about anything outside the elves and their traditions, and asked his father and mother who replied and told Hal’thes that the only races you can trust in this world are your fellow Elves and the Humans of Arathor. Hal’thes didn’t agree and thought all races should have a chance to be proven and he decided that one day he would venture into the land outside of Quel’Thalas and visit other races.
30 years later and Hal’thes was 59 and was enjoying life. He had left his family to join a Magi academy and learned the basics of Elven magic. He lived within the walls of Silvermoon and would leave at the age of 85 when he had finished his studies. 1 year later he found out that his mother had given birth to a baby sister named Helena what angered Hal’thes though is that his Father had been killed in action against the trolls and his baby sister was the daughter of a human paladin from the lands of Arathor. Due to prejudice against Half-Elves his family was forced to leave and live out their lives in Arathor.
Hal’thes decided to stay and finish his studies and never wrote to his family… to ashamed of his Half-Elf sister. At the age of 86 Hal’thes was a Elven teen and set out to join his family and see his now 26 year old sister. Hal’thes arrived at their home and found his step-father had married his mother at the age of 39 and was now 65 years old. Hal’thes ignored his parents and saw his sister, Hal’thes discovered the only difference between him and she was the age difference and her ears were not as long they were human sized but pointy. Hal’thes forgot his anger and learnt to live with his new father and sister.
At the age of 89 he set out once again, this time to Dalaran to study and learn more about Human culture. Hal’thes stayed in Dalaran throughout the first and second wars only leaving to go to his step-fathers funeral as a human he died at the age of 98 while Hal’thes was now 101.
Hal’thes learned to wield a sword at Dalaran and at the age of 110 he set out to join the alliance army during the third war. He fought during the last year of the conflict and returned to Dalaran to discover it too destroyed. Now having no home and his only family his 50 year old sister he found out that his sister had fled to Quel’Thalas and was about to set out to find her when he received word that she and many more had become blood elves and that the sunwell had been destroyed.
Hal’thes decided to remain a Quel’Dorei and learnt to control his hunger for magic by meditating 1 hour each day. Now 114 years old Hal’thes currently resides within Goldshire.

Okey seriously I dont understand how people keep missing the points of the different threads, this will be the last time I move a post like this. Next time someone posts on the (RP) thread without being an active writer in the story I will simply delete and not give it any furthur thoughts.
This IS the last warning..

Yes you do. And your character works, I just have one small thing to point out. Even though elves used to be immortal they did not differ from humans that much. A twenty year old elf would be the same as a twenty year old human. They did certainly not need to be 110 to learn magic. Nor did they mature slower or grow slower just because of their immortality. And as it stands now High elves (blood elves) nor night elves are immortal anymore.
But feel free to make your starting post. Just remember that you cannot take a gryffon from Stormwind and reach plaguelands in 8 minutes. It would take weeks of travelling (there are no gryffon flights around here)

Name: Hal’thes Sunwinder
Race: High Elf, Quel’Dorei
Age- Self-explanatory. 117
Class- Demon-Hunter, EX-Mage
Appearance- Tall and muscular for a High Elf, Hal’thes eye’s are not visible as he wears a blue with gold trimmed cloth around them. Has Hoofed Feet and Hairy legs concealed under blue baggy trousers with gold trims.
Equipment- Hal’thes does not wear armor but wields 2 demonically enhanced war blades.
Backstory-
Hal’thes was born in the area now known as the Ghostlands, for 20 years or so he lived a happy normal life. At 22 he enlisted to become an apprentice mage and was very proud of his race. Hal’thes quickly became a gifted Mage and after 15 years of studying he was offered the chance to become an even better mage by training at the human city known as Dalaran.
Hal’thes accepted eagerly and tried to find out as much about the humans as possible. When Hal’thes reached Dalaran he was taught the ways of the Kirin-Tor and how to use frost magic instead of just arcane magic. Hal’thes stayed there until he was 40 from then he returned and settled down in Quel’Thalas.
Hal'thes by this time had become a typical Elf and had become distrustfull of all other races but even then he learned the humans language as Dalaran mages often visited the land. Hal'thes was 83 when the boarderlands (what is now eastern plaguelands) were burned by the orcs. Hal'thes rose to help defend his land but after the war not much is known about Hal'thes until the third war were he fought at Mount Hyjal and soon after he was trained in the arts of demonoligy and became a Demon Hunter. When his fellow elves asked why he had done so he replied "to defend quel'thalas" he knows that the blood elves rule quel'thalas now but still he wanders the borders of the once great kingdom.
The only people Hal'thes talks to in full confidence are the wildehammer dwarves who he lived with until he was 117. At that age for an unkown reason he left and no-one knows were to until he was seen entering a tavern in the plaguelands.
ive edited it and know what do you think?

Name: Amor "Frozen" Ghaardis
Race: Undead
Age- 12
Class- Mage
Appearance- Thin, rather lanky figure, she has very untamed hair about down to her shoulders, and an eye without an iris (White iris, so it just looks like a pupil) and the other eye has a greenish yellow iris.
Equipment- She uses a simple fan made of raven feathers, and she has a dark gray but not black robe/cowl. In her other hand she holds a neon green bordered black spell book given to her by Vampirathas.
Backstory- When she was born, she was unfit for society due to many mental problems she had. She was a sociopath and she was scytsophranic (I can't spell that) so by the time she was six, no one in her life wanted to be near her, She lived in Northshire Valley and stayed with Milly Osworth because she was the only one that would even tolerate her. Her mother had gone and ran away from her child, because she did want want to be deemed the mother of such a horrible kid. One day, Milly asked her to go and collect some grapes for her wine. Of course, Amor did was Milly asked, because she looked up to Milly so much. As she traveled over there a Defias thug had come up from behind her, and took some amonia out of his pocket and put it on a rag and placed it on her mouth, knocking her out. When she woke up, she was in Brill. Scared out of her mind to see everyone around was undead, she began to then cry. What confused her was that she could stay crying, her other personality would not come out. She was running around, stumbling like a drunk in a horror movie, looking at people, they all stared at her for a minute than went back to what they were doing. She then put her hands to her face, as you would when you have a headache, and she felt bone. She looked at herself, and also began to cry once more. She had passed out by then and when she woke up there were many people at her bedside (in the inn) She lunges up and begins speaking:
"What's going on? Where's Milly? Who are you?" She asks, frantically.
"We're all watching you go insane is what's going on, and who is Mil" Someone replies, before they get cut off.
"Milly Osworth" She says, interrupting.
She than began crying, still not knowing whats happening.
"We found you, dead in the Western Plaguelands." Says the same man who was talking earlier.
"Oh... oh no... I'm not dead, I'm alive! I know it!" She says, now sobbing
-Forward-
Amor now knows what had happened. Six years later she has considered herself strong enough to venture on her own with only the clothes on her back, a book, and a fan that Milly had given to her years before.
That took a long time.

Name: Altaire Severin
Race: Human
Age: 45
Class: Mage
Specialization: Arcane/Fire/Frost
Father: Eduard Severin
Mother: Melina Ironhand (Dwarf)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Altaire is the oldest and most powerful of the Severin brothers. His jet black hair hangs halfway down his back, and is starting to turn silver at the temples. He has his mothers deep blue eyes; however, when he bends his will to his arcane powers, they become completely black. His voice is softer in tone than his brothers, not as smooth or confidence-inspiring as Otos, yet not as rough and harsh as Candarl, yet still with the dwarven burr.
Equipment: Many mages of Altaires' power attire themselves in spectacular robes, gleaming crowns, mighty staves and long, flowing capes. Altaire is no different. In normal surroundings, such as a tavern or city, he wears a similar spidersilk robe to Candarl, and a simple wide-brimmed hat, on the battlefield however, he is transformed into a shining beacon of magical might. A full set of Tempest Regalia armor, with a mighty, golden staff (supposedly taken from a defeated Blood Elf Arch mage) strike fear into even the most stalwart Orc warrior.
History: Altaire, the first-born son of Eduard Severin and Melina Ironhand, was a sickly child at birth. Through his childhood, he was stricken with many diseases and infections, many healers and holy men predicted that he would not live to come of age (16). On the Midsummer that would mark the boys 16th birthday, a grand celebration was organized. Dozens of men, women and dwarves converged on the families Westfall home to celebrate Altaire overcoming the impossible odds and coming of age. The party had been in full swing for several hours, when a party of starving bandits attacked. They cut a swath through the partygoers, many of Altaires’ family and friends were cut down. Seeing the devastation, Altaire unconsciously tapped into the huge font of energy within himself, forming an impermeable barrier around the house, and disintegrating the attackers. It was an unnerving sight, the boy, floating above the ground, arms raised in the air, normally blue eyes as black as pitch, targeting and destroying every bandit that had attacked. For several weeks afterwards, Altaire was in great mental anguish over the loss of nearly half of his family. This served to strengthen his resolve, he decided to make the trip to the city of Dalaran, to learn the ways of the Arcane Mages.

Halthes - that perhaps wasn't the best time to join us, if you've read our latest posts you'll see what we're heading into at the moment. Can I suggest that you follow at a distance for now? Try to work out who we are and what we're doing for yourself?
Zaczor - just as a random side note, if you're a mage in Dalaran make sure that you know about the elements such as the Dalaran Council, Tallian's disagreement with them, the supposed corruption that's appearing throughout the city etc etc, and decide which side (if any) your character will have picked. Also, you're more than welcome to have Altaire know Rowen somehow if that will help you come into the story, whether it's like or dislike! ;)
Anyway, as for me - I'm away from tomorrow up until the 20th August, so I'll see you all then :)

Well then folks...correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me like some of our newer writers got bored of our slow pace and have taken their leave.
For all those who are still around...any ideas what to do now or how long should we keep waiting in case some people show up again?
