Sweeping Tide (STF)

This will be the the sweeping tides SSF (Story Thus Far) thread. I'l post updates so everyone knows where we are and whats going on. If I'm no around feel free to fill in.


So far only a little has happened.

Feanaro waits for mecenarys in the Twisted Nag tavern.

Feanaro has a black orb of some type hes playing with in his hands.

Oscald, an old friend of Feanaro, has arrived and been greeted. Grythic the surly Worg also greets him.

A moment later Aryalinn the Elf walks in and sits down at Feanaro's table.

Update:

The Wizzard Tallian enters next, keeping himself quite. He sits alone.

A Dwarf follows, buying a drink then joining the table.

Feanaro, the Night Elf, says all explanations will wait till sundown. They will be leaving at dawn the next day.

Wizard not mage, BIG difference, so The Wizard Tallian enters and sits alone etc etc

Ahh semantics. They make the world go round.

Anyway: Update:

Feanaro explains to those gathered that he plans to visit a temple hidden somewhere south.

He is vague, little details are explained.

A small wealth in loot and items is promissed, including the silver and jewle pendants he puts on the table.

Those gathered agree to go with him, if only for the promise of gold.

A human military corporal, from Stormwind, enters and comes to the table. His reasons for abandoning his post are unknown.

The story continues!!

Haunted by his memories, like restless ghosts, Corporal Eleazar commits suicide within the confinement of his own room. No one seems to notice this dreadful act, yet...

Meanwhile, in the wilderness, the wizard Tallian awakes being surrounded by the forces of the evil undead. To his luck (and to the misfortune of the skeletons and ghouls), his sorcery burns them into ashes, with a single, but mighty outburst of flames...

A young comely Night Elven girl, Nacolita by the name, enters the tavrn. While Elythriande, the blood elf in disguise greets her with a teasing comment, She simply thumbles to the floor and faints. Moments later, regaining her conscience, she introduces herself to the party, especially Feanaro.

The main party moves south along the road but is ambushed by beasts.

Most of the party fight powerfully.

Feanaro the Elf does not fight. He stands in the centre of the group as they fight individual battles and watches. He does not harm a creature.

The beasts (both Worgs like wolves, and worgen like wolfmen) are numerous.

The other character, the wizard, has similarly been attacked but this time by waves of undead. He is curled up in a tree stump.

The battle ends with minor injuries.

Feanaro walks to a copse telling the others to follow.

Here at the copse questions are asked and mysteries are answered.

The group arrive at the copse which has been chard by some former battle.

The human who helped is standing in the clearing. He is ignored again by feanaro who walks right by him.

The others arrive and Oscald the Gnome notices the human.

Further questions are asked and answered and new group members are gained.
