Character database not updating correctly

Hello,

I'm a new user to the database. A few friends and myself have installed the client on our workstations and update the characters nightly.

I have noticed (as have they) that the characters are only updated for the owner and does not work for other people who query your character.

For example:

References my character, which I see as a level 27 Priest (which reflects what I am at present). If someone else was to check that query, they would see a level 14 Priest.

I have tried flushing cache, removing cookies, trying from virgin workstations and I encounter the same results every time. Outside users see an archived version of my character while I do not. This applies for both my characters as his as well when I check.

Is there something we are missing? (Namely a previous thread which already discusses this?)

I checked today as well and noticed the same thing. I want to clarify that this was not working until I posted my message. We had been trying for about a week to no avail.

He updated his character profile earlier this morning. He is able to see his updated profile yet I am not.

Tried after a cookie / cache flush and on a virgin PC using both Firefox 1.5 and 1.0.7 and IE 6.0.

I tried to PM but it seems your inbox is full.

Why would different information be displayed before and after I login?

I'm aware there was some downtime, so this might not of been looked into yet. Just want to keep this ontop of the todo as I feel it's a rather important feature.

It seems I have the same trouble with my character Bendy stored here:

No matter how many times I upload data an old profile keeps appearing on the site. Usually I see the new version of the profile for a few minutes, and then the old one is back.

I have tried choosing the 'Delete character' option, but that doesn't help either.

Can you have a look some time?

Yes for sure, This will be to do with caching and it does need urgent attention. I will chase on this for everyone.
