Going from lvl 1 to 55 or so one important way to make money is to auction BOE greens, but now that I have been higher lvl for awhile I’ve noticed that 55+ BOE greens don't sell worth crap. So much so that I usually just vendor them or send them to a friend that has a lower lvl toon so he can DE and use for mats his enchanting.

So, has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

My theory on why this is is that once ppl get 50+ they have and are looking for blue gear and even if the BOE green would be an upgrade they don't want to spend the money when they know that soon they will be getting a better blue.

So, do you think this is right or no?

Should I continue to vendor (w/ lower lvl BOE greens I considered this a sin) or should I try harder to auction them?

Yes I have auctioneer mod and its defenently FTW, but the problem is even using auctioneer my auctions for 55+ BOE greens always expire without selling

at lvl 55+, I am only running instances that drop blues.
i am only looking for blues, because blues have better stats, and i am going to need better weapons because where i am headed is tougher at lvl 55 than an instance was at lvl 45.

so do i spend 7-10g for a green sword when, hey, i might already have one and/or, i know that if i run these few instances i have a chance at getting something much better?

Yes, i agree with you.. i vendor/or give to friends to DE all the 55+ green items i find..no one wants em except for loners -i suppose?

Make a chanter alt to DE them and sell the mats. Or friends work too I suppose if you dont want the cash.

Greens get harder to sell the more instances become available to a level_X toon.

I always sold them for the quick 2g instead of creating an alt and sending things to it all the time. Mainly because I lack patience some days =)

It's simple...

If an item costs you 1g to put in the AH, and will sell for 1g50 to a vendor... where you could perhaps get 2g50 at the AH... would you be willing to take that risk ?

It's just not worth the risk of not selling for that low a profit.

as stated befor, at lvl 55 + people are running instances whit far better drops than your green item of worthlessness. So either sell them to a vendor if they are 5g or more worth, or send them to a alt which disenchants them and sell the materials in the AH. They give you a good price too.
