OOC: Hello and welcome to the Horde's Hope RP. THis is basically a RP that takes place in Durotar, Razor Hill. I'm hoping for atleast 2-5 more people to join. Anyway, basically, you can join in and play along but to do so, please put " [Name] - [Race] [Class]" at the top of all of your posts. Let me add one more thing: Orcs, Taurens, Undead, Trolls, Blood Elves are all members of the Horde. But I'm also adding two more races; The Ogres and the Goblins. So, you have your choice of seven races to pick from. Have fun!

IC: Grok'thar - Orc Hunter

In the town of Razor Hill, Grokthar could be seen sitting by the Barracks, watching people go by. There wasn't much for him to do lately. He had helped with putting down the human marines at the nearby keep, killed some hexed trolls, and stopped some centaurs. But now, life wasn't as exciting as when he was needed.

His heavy axe by his side along with his rifle, he sighed and looked at the clouds floating past him. The sky of Durotar was always pleasing to look at but now even boredom took that away.

The orcish warrior got to his feet, strapped on axe and picked up his gun, and smiled when his Raptor, a companion and friend he had made out in the wilderness, came running for him. "Ah, Riken, you're back!" Grok'thar chuckled as he patted the Raptor's head and looked around. There were some new people in town, some from oversea, possibly.

Grok'thar yelled aloud, "I'm on a quest to kill some bloody razormanes! Who wish to come with me?!"

OOC: All right, feel free to join in and answer his call for help. Or you can just go off and do your own thing and join him later on.

name: Luxar Race: Orc Class: Warrior

Luxar stepped out of the armory with his newly aquired axe. It was large, heavy and had a nice curve to it. Every thing Luxar looked for in a Pinkskin killing tool. Its blood red blades gave way to a tarnished oaken shaft, with tanned boar hide at the handle, aiding grip nicely for the follow through. Swinging it abought his head a couple more times, before he was truely satisfied, he strapped it onto his back.

Looking abought Razor Hill, there were Orcs and Trolls all over the place, all busying them selves with there own problems. Luxar needed to offer his services to some one. He had spent what little silver he had left on the axe. there was not much to do now. The Alliance Marines were all but taken care of. Echo Island was just abought free of the human spell casters. Then, Luxar's desperation was answered.

'Im on a quest to kill some bloody Razor Manes. Who will help me?'

Luxar cheered at the sun, far as he knew, he hated Razor Manes. Though he never paid much attention to the critters of Durotar. All he wanted to know was where he could go to kill things.

'I will help you, friend. I am Luxar, greatest axe man in all of Durotar'

Luxar stuck out his chest and pounded his mail armour with his right fist, tp try and make himself look intimidating and more than worthy of the challange.

Name: Xaresh Sunwalker Race: Blood Elf Class: Warlock

Xaresh walked into the town of Razor Hill, looking at all that lay there. Even though its beauty was nothing compared to his homeland, he still had a strange admiration for this place.

As one of the few of his people wishing not to succumb to his addiction of magic, he also wishes to obtain mastery of his demonic powers. He came here searching for people, orcs to be exact, that could help him do this, but he needed to first make him self allies, people to call friend.

He then heard a call from a orc saying " Im on a quest to kill some bloody Razor Manes. Who will help me?" "You have found yourself one ally among the populace friend. You may call me Xaresh, and I shall aid you in your quest."

Xaresh walked over to the orc, who was joined by another called Luxar, and summoned out his imp. "Let those pigs fear my name, for Xaresh Sunwalker knows no mercy!"

Name: Shaargh N'guhl /Race: Troll /Class: Warrior

Shaargh N'guhl was a green-skined troll, with a flame-red hair bursting out of his head. His slim and curved body was covered up with a rusty metal plate and a pack of javelins rested upon his back on a leather quiver. The troll warrior held a long and elegant sabre on his right hand and a small, oval, circular shield on his other arm.

He walked slowly trough the streets of Razor Hill, his flaming red eyes staring at everything with deep interest. Images of a differente Razor Hill passed trough the troll's mind, as he remembered previous and distant visits to that place, a long time ago. Since then, he had seen a little bit more of the world, and had done some things he never thought he would do.

A rude voice screaming near him awoke Shaargh from his thoughts. Stretching his back, he stood in his entire height and observed the orc yelling, as some other people already went in his direction.
Shaargh N'guhl scratched his head for a minute and then, as if compelled by a sudden decision, walked towards the orc as well.

Menicles stood by the first aid trainer trying to tye his bandages properly. "This is crud" he said, and decided he was happy that as a mage he could blow things up from a distance.

Trying once more to get the bandage right and once again hearing the trainer berate him for doing it wrong he decided it was time to go out and see if he could finish some of the jobs that had been given to him. As he walked outside he heard the call "I'm on a quest to kill some bloody Razormanes!"

Menicles walked toward the Orc that was calling for help. "I can help you hunt those Razormanes"

Now, I'm affraid that tokogaro, the guy who started this, doesn't even know that someone replied. And he was the one with de idea for this rp, wich can make things a litle bit difficult. Endora walked into the city known as razor hill, although walking could be a bad description. She dragged her left leg over the ground. as she entered through the south side of the city, she stopped for a second, looked around and went towards the inn. slowly moving and looking around, she noticed 2 trolls, a blood elf and 2 orcs talking to each other. it was a strange party indeed. but looks can be decieving, so she prepared a spell-like ability and blessed the party with some extra fortitude.

she then progressed towards the inn to get something to eat, for it has been a long time since she had some decent food. corpse-eating is fun, but mostly it isn't very nutricious.

The quilboar was on the top of a very small hill, surrounded by small trees and bushes that seemed to grow taller and more compact after the elevation.

She put herself down at the distance of 10 meters to watch the spectacle of the group. maybe even getthe chance to laugh a bit, because it has been quite a long time ago that she even put a smile on her face.

Shaargh withdrawed another javelin and launched it with full strenght towards the big beast. The troll began to curse with frustration, when the large quilboar took a shield out of his back and, with an unexpected agility , defended himself.

The troll screamed in pain and looked down in anger, as he stared his atacker right in the eyes: the sheep was biting his feet with extreme determination.

With that, Folin stood up and heved his axe back onto his shoulder, happy to be doing something rather just wander across Kalimdor, killing things or getting chased by Thunder Lizards. D@mnable beasts...

Lexar had been quite the whole time that the Trolls Shaargh and Menicles were deducing things abought the trinket. It would take a vast army thousands strong to even put a dentin the city, and these 2 were thinking abought takeing them all on?

It was not like Lexar to back down from a fight of any nature. Besdies when they get to the Crossroads, maybe the militants there will bacdk us up with an army, rather than sending in a few strangers that had just me.

"...im not that heavy with all the flesh i lost during all these years"

Lexar shuddered at the idea of carrying a decompsing corpse on his back. He had no thought of carrying her, after all, he might end up catching the disese.

"That un-dead girl is kinda crazy isnt she?" Shraagh had spoken in a low voice. Lexar just nodded.

Endora had fallen a little behind the group. she got hungry and decided to sit down by her freshly made campfire and cook a bit, yelling to the others: "hey, you guys want some baked fish, roasted pork or some fried crocolisk? i've got plenty"

So she started cooking, wether the group came or not. For she would get there faster then them, cause she had no intention to run the entire time and she had allready been there. But that was a secret to the rest of the party.

The campfire was cosy and warm, relaxing and playfull. The flames were a play that Endora could look at for hours, if it not were days.

"Right. Beside, I don't feel like accepting food from someone who've been buried and crawled back out of the hole. It doesn't just seem like a good omen..." Folin whispered with a smile on his face. He had plently of meat left in one of his larger backpacks anyway.

"So, when we get to the Crossroads, we'll need to decide who to talk to first. And plus all the right people to notify as well. Like that shaman woman, or the orc in charge of security at the Crossroads. Can't get any real reinforcements without the right people supporting us." He may have been a warrior, but his father had been a real leader for the High Elves' swordsmen back in the years. Some of his father's strong personality had gone into Folin, and when things got bad, he seemed to fight harder and more bravely to the point of becoming reckless and wild.

"Seems like Durotar has too many enemies. Koklar Centaurs and Quillboars- Wait. I remember fighting some centaurs near Sen'Jin Village. They had entire attack plans for Durotar. What if... What if the Quillboars and the Centaurs are allies? I came throught the Barrens some days ago myself, and there's a large force of Centaurs led by three of their kind. Its a possibility that they'll help the Quillboars in the attacks..." Folin gulped as he started thinking about the possibilities. The Quillboars' attack plan. The build-up of Centaurs. Problems plaguing the Barrens and Durotar...

One thing for sure, there was something big going on.

Lexar had scoffed down more than he had intended, after all Endora had said only take a couple. He screwed the lid back on the jar and went to give it back, only to find that Endora had gone. Lexar looked up and down the road and saw no sign of her.

"Bloody mage's, always coming and going as they please" he thought.

He put the jar in his backpack, with the thought of returning it to Endora once they caught up again. Lexar looked up at the sun, it had passed its ebb and was beggining its long decent into the horizon. If he had woken up knowing that he would be dragged on some wild and pretty much out there quest, he would have stayed in bed.

Now amballing along the golden and dusty road that lead to the cross roads, it wassome time before Lexar saw Shaargh, Flolin and Menicles off in the distance. The Orc quickened his pace and hoped to catch up with them befor they reached the town. But Lexar stopped in his tracks, something had caught his eye just off to the side of the road, a glint, something reflecting the sun. He looked in the distance for some time, then there was another. Pin pointing the exact location now, Lexar could see several small figures crouched behind a rock, the glinting was the drawing of blades reflecting in the sunlight.

Lexar quickened his pace, a small squad of Centars had hold up off the track, in ambush.

Lexar - Orc - Warrior

Folin bearly had chance to ask Lexar what was wrong, when the centars sprung from hideing. A volly of spears wizzed passed Lexars ears as the Centars screamed out a charge. Gripping his large red axe firmly in both hands, he chose the nearest target and made a charge himself, the centar was momentarily stunned by the sudden onslught, giving Lexar enough time to bring his axe to bear and make a clean slash accross the centars side.

Things went dizzy, stars sparkled in his sights and his vision went dull. Another thudd on the back woke Lexar to reality just in time to block a blow from a centar that had snuck up on him. After blocking the blow, Lexar rammed the creature shoulder first. Knocking it off balance, giveing Lexar the advantage. Bringing the shaft of the axe down upon the creatures skull, it made a sickening cracking sound and blood srtarted to ooze from its nose. Lexar gave another crack, then another, until the centars skull had split and his enemy lay dead upon the ground.

Lexar survayed the battle ground, Menicles was happy setting things ablaze, Shraagh and Folin were fighting back to back. Bloodlust over came Lexar, he craned his neck to the sky and gave out a roaring shout as the adrenalin coarsed through his every being, his eyes blazed with thrill of the fight. Picking another target that seemed suitable to die by his hands, he raised his axe and begun to charge like a runnaway Kodo. Only to have his charge stopped short as he tripped over a sheep,

Lexar hit the dirt with a tremendouse thud, his axe flung accross the desert floor. Composing himself, he turned over and eyeballed the sheep, throwing a rock at it was probably the worst mistake Lexar had made all day. The critter was engulfed in smoke and from the haze loomed a centar. Lexars face turned to realisation as he tried in vain to look for his axe, but it was to far out of reach. Dazed at the confusion of suddenly wanting to eat grass and jump around till his legs were sore, the centar caught eyes on Lexar and begun to advance.

All the sudden, a rain of shouts and growling fell upon Shaargh's ears. He looked around, confused, only to see a big group of centaurs riding in their direction, coming from all sides. He also saw what it looked like a spear flying towards his head out of nowhere. With a quick move, Shaargh ducked and raised his shield, defending himself. But the centaur who had thrown the spear must had been really big...and very very strong, because as the spear hit the small circular shield, the impact force made the troll fall back. With a strange and almost feline movement, Shaargh twisted himself in the air, as he withdrawed a javelin from his back, and landed with one knee in the floor and the other lag streched horizontaly as he supported his weight with the arm that carried the shield. As soon as he landed, the javelin was sent flying from his hand, to finaly burry itself on a centaur's chest...the first centaur that Shaargh layed his eyes on, the one that was dangerously going towards Lexar.
Shaargh never had the time to say anything or to congratulate himself for the kill, cause a new centaur was already riding towards him.
The troll raised to his feet but kept his torso inclined forwards and his legs open. He quickly withdrawed his sabre and prepared to face his enemy.
The beast charged at full speed towards the troll, who was as silent as a church mouse , and tried to run over him at the same time it swong his sword, attempting to cut the troll's head off.
Shaargh ducked again and rotated over his own body, making the centaur pass by him with out hitting anything. At the same time Shaargh ducked, he gained the impulse needed to jump high, frog-like, and landed upon the centaur's back. The troll pierced through the centaur's head with the sabre, making it perfurate to the other side, coming out from the beast's throat.
Shaargh raised his other arm and screamed: " FOR THE BLOODEYE TRIBE!!! FOR THE HOOoo.. hmpf!" For a moment, he forgot that a dead centaur can't stay on his feet for a long time, and as a result of that, Shaargh was dragged to the floor with the fallen beast, and eventually hit the floor, with a very loud: " SH****T!!!"

Folin Shadowblade - Blood Elf Warrior

The battle had gone somewhat shaky, as Lexar had canceled the magic that kept one of the centaurs polymorphed and the other troll warrior had ended up under a dead centaur.

"Sheesh!" Folin pushed off one of the centaurs fighting him and dashed for the orc warrior. Once he had neared enough, the Blood Elf jumped up and brought his axe down on the centaur's head, cutting it into two. With a grunt, he pulled out the bloody axe and hacked it into the centaur's side, forcing him to fall to the side.

"Let's go, Lexar! Time to fight like real warriors and not a greenhorn!" Perhaps with a veiled insult, he could excited the orc warrior into fighting like a demon, as he knew other orcs could. "Fight like the orc you are!"

Laughing, Folin turned to meet the centaur he had knocked back head on, his shoulder slamming into the centaur's groin. As the centaur doubled over in pain, Folin brought his axe around and with a powerful momentum, drove the axe clean across the centaur's neck.

Turning around to survey the battle, Folin looked at how his teammates were doing. He then looked beyond them, trying to see if there were any more waiting in ambush.

With the quillboar helplessly tied up, Folin took a sword he had picked up after killing some of the trolls on Echo Isles but hadn't the chance to sell it for some silvers. Lexar could tell that this guy was a leader of men, purely by the way he foreded himself. They way he talked to the others. Though Lexar did not pay much attention, he busied himself hunting for his Axe. Alll over the place was broken weapons and splintered shields. Wayward armour flung from there hosts backs.

Menicles couldn't put his finger on it, so he decided to let sleeping dogs lie. Whatever Shaargh was hiding was helping the group a whole lot.

Menicles caught up with Shaargh and cast his pre battle spells. He wasn't going into this one unprepared. He saw that the raptors were hiding behind some rocks observing him, but he also noticed something strange about the raptors' hind legs. They were all branded with the symbol of Sen'Jin villaige.

"These are not wild animals" Menicles said "They look almost like riding Raptors. We should see if their owner is around to warn him of the quilboars."

With that Menicles walked toward the Raptors and was proved right when they didn't attack him

"Now where is their owner?" Menicles asked scanning the horizon

"Wait. No!" Lexar called after Shaargh

He hadnt ment that they should have charged the Raptors, merly try and avoid them. Lexar was beat after the battle with the Quilboars and the Centar. But he found that Shaargh had not attacked the Raptord after all. These Raptors had saddles on them.

"These are not wild animals" Menicles said "They look almost like riding Raptors. We should see if their owner is around to warn him of the quilboars."

Lexar surveyed the surroundings, but all he could see was barren lands all the up to the horizon, there wsnt a living soul to be seen.

"Now where is their owner?" Menicle had asked to no one in particular.

"Dont know, but i cant see any one in sight, Lexar replied anyway. "Maybe they are already dead and these Raptors had managed to escape"

Shaargh N'gul - Troll - Warrior

The red-haired troll sighed of frustration. As far as he was concerned, to stop at every 10 minutes was not a good strategy to get out of danger. He looked around, trying to find the raptor's owner, but there was no one else but them on the vast plain.

" Stealing is not one of my favorite things to do, but if the raptor's owner is not around, maybe it's because they no longer have one.....so..we really should take them. If we find some more centaurs, their speed advantage would be neutralized if some of us were mounting these pretty babys. And if the owner is around here after all, then he better show up, instead of allowing his property to wonder around like this. But it's your call...I can't even remember the last time I fought mounting on a raptor." - Shaargh said, in a casual tone. He jumped to the top of a boulder and continued to look around, hoping that they could leave as fast as they could.

"It doesn't matter if you don't like stealing, we need these to save Orgrimmar!" Menicles said as he jumped on the saddle of a Raptor. "I used to race Raptors in Sen'Jin, let's see who makes it to Crossroads first"

Menicles sped off without looking back at the others. He would wait up ahead near a tree and then the race would begin. Menicles was pretty sure that on Raptors the group would be able to outrun any Quilboars they encountered, and give a good chase to any Centaurs.

seeing the group mount up the raptors and hearing something about a race, Endora paused, got some cloth out of her backpack and stood in front of the party.

she lifted the piece of cloth and yelled : "everybody ready? GET SET."
she paused for a second and suddenly: "GO!!"

And they left a dust cloud as they started. Endora wasn't feeling the urge of walking so decided to use her heartstone set on the destination (cheatcheat). She just wanted to make sure that she could be the finish girl :p. so she hearted out, leaving the barren land around the river, but she knew she would return someday.

Shaargh N'gul - Troll - Warrior

Shaargh jumped from the boulder directly into one of the other raptor's back and sped off after Menicles. Only then did the troll remember how much he loved to ride them, and a thin smile apeared on his rude face.
Looking towards the horizon, Shaargh could see that the sun was slowly disapearing, as the night and the moon took hold of the sky. The preocupation grew again on his mind, as he thought that, by nightfall, they should've advanced more and be further away on their path towards the Crossroads, but instead, they were still isolated targets.

Lexar eyed the raptor inqusitively. Such a stange beast to ride, give him a bearly black wolf and he would show people how beasts are ment to be ridden. Though he did not doubt that the Raptors were just as visciouse in combat.

Lexar grabbed the reains and paused for a secound, praying that he came off from this without a scratch. Houing himself up, the Raptor screeched its protest. The dead wight on its back, holding it down. The Raptor begun to buck and ran off into the horizon just as Endora shouted go.

With a considerable lead over the others Menicles looked back to see Lexar struggling to get onto his raptor.

"That is not a wolf" Menicles yelled "Don't hold the saddle grab the neck, your ride will be much easier. Don't worry about the raptor either, their necks are their strongest bits"

Menicles was feeling secure on his raptor with the knowledge that they could outrun most of their attackers. Having crossed the river into the barrens helped too. The setting sun was a small cause for concern however, a small group travelling at night would probably be an easy target for night bandits. Menicles urged his raptor to go faster and silently hoped that the group would be able to make it to crossroads before nightfall

Endora arrived in the Crossroads, the stop to her heartstone journey. she stood in the inn next to Boorand Plainswind, the innkeeper. First things first, she walked out and went straight for the mailbox to check her mail. She received a mail from many different people, but it was mostly spam.

Then she went shopping for some bread at Moorane Heartgrain, the tauren baker. After the bread she went to meet the butcher named Zargh for some freshly butchered flesh. Then went to search some spices at Tari'qa, the trader next to the general suplier, Barg.

Then she waited for the racers to arrive. So she looked around and saw different people, but one was extraordinary. Thoughts ravaged though her head: "A Blood Elf? Here in the Barrens? What does a whiteskin has to search here? and in a black robe? doesn't he know this is the hottest part in the world besides Tanaris? Better try to meet this guy."

So she walked over to him and spoke to him. "Greetings outlander, my name is Endora Darklight, priest of the order of the Forsaken. And who might you be?"

Lanndorak had just arrived in the crossroads.
He figured since the people back home decided these beings were allies he might as well get to know them.

Lanndorak had been in orgrimarr, the orcs were primitive in behavior but they had honor within them. The same for the trolls and their foolish belief in voodoo.

The Tauren well they where the tauren they where pretty much to them selves.

He hadn't met any undead yet but they fought the scourge wich was good enoug for Lanndorak.

Greetings outlander, my name is Endora Darklight, priest of the order of the Forsaken. And who might you be?"

Lanndorak turned around to face this new voice.
He stared upon an undead female.
Lanndorak nodded to her.
The name is Lanndorak Geltholas, master of the arcane. At your service
Lanndorak made a gracefull bow.

The sky was turning into a beautiful purple color, as the sun went off in the horizon, spreading it's last lightning beams across the air. Some lone stars and constelations began to shine, in companionship with the pale ghost of the moon, that slowly apeared in the sky. The red mountains of the barrens got darker by the minute, making them look hostile and the perfect shadow to give cover for more menacing creatures.

Shaargh N'gul gave a small tap on his raptor's shoulder, inciting him to run faster. The troll's metal plate jingled along the way, as he tried to aproach Menicles from his left side.

" Hey, Menicles!" - Shaargh shouted, trying to speak trough the wind. - "We're never gonna make it to Crossroads before nightfall!! It will take us at least some more two or three hours after the sun disappears in the horizon!! " - Shaargh paused for a few seconds, in order to regain his balance upon the raptor's back. - " We should ride for a little longer, and ask the others what they wanna do, to camp or continue to ride!"

Menicles words ran true. Grabbing hold of the Raptors neck, he found it easier to balance and control the Raptor. Though he still could not get the speed he wanted and was lacking behind the rest slightly. The sun had begun to set and the sky was lit up with a brilliant purple.

After some time of rushing wind and catching bugs in his teeth, the party stopped. It was fully night now and the moon was beginning to ascend higher into the sky.

"What do you lot want to do? rest or continue?" SHraagh commented.

Lexar thought for a secound. They were not yet clear of danger, any one could have tracked the dust kicked up by the Raptors and they would not have a hard time following the footprints. Also, they needed to get to cross roads as fast as possible. If there really is an army forming to attack Orgrimmar, they needed to form up as fast as possible. Every thing pointed to continueing on. But dispite all that, Lexar found that the group decied to rest. God only know they deserved it.

Lexar had pulled pulled first watch over the camp. Nothing happened, cayote's howling far off into the night. With the lack of the sun and unable to build a fire, the watch was long and cold. Lezar shivered at the breeze and watched the moon rise. The stars shone so brightly in the sky. Millions of timy little pin pricks, as they twinkled in the dark void.

"That should be long enough" grunted Lexar.

He gave Menicles a boot and told him that it was his watch. Many grunts and curseing followed, but Lexar ignored tyhem as he pulled out his wolf skin blankets and wrapped him self in them and tryed to keep warm.

Menicles woke up annoyed that he had to be woken in the middle of his slumber to take watch. He knew that as soon as he got back to sleep he would be woken for the morning. Menicles wanted to get to Crossroads as soon as possible. Something about their campsite did not feel right to him. Menicles had a very bad feeling that sometime before they began their journey in the morning something very bad would happen.

"We should have journeyed through the night," Menicles grumbled to himself

He contented himself to picking out constellations in the sky and thinking of the stories behind them. Near the end of his shift he thought that he saw some lights in the distance. Assuming that it was the fatigue and stars playing tricks on him he went to wake Shaargh up. He grabbed the other troll by the shoulder to wake him up, and thought that he saw movement in the distance, realising that it was time to sleep he made sure that the other troll was awake and then grabbed his tigerskin blanket and went to sleep

"Lanndorak, strange name for a whiteskin. What brings you here to Crossroads? Work, travel, sightseeing or some other reasons? It may be none of my bussiness but i'm just curious."
Endora talked to the Blood elf till the night was almost falling. And it was really strange that her party hadn't arrived yet. They had raptors, where could they be? Probably they got lost somewhere, typical for some of her partymembers.

Endora started a campfire and started to cook while still having a conversation with Lanndorak.

Shaarg had been awake for almost the entire night, staring at the sky and lost within deep thoughts about the present things that had been happening, but also about some other events from his past. So, it was no surprise that when Menicles grabbed him by the shoulder, Shaargh actualy seemed to be sleeping. He stood up without saying a word, and walked around their camp for a few minutes, trying to make the blood-circulation reach all of his muscles. He also checked the raptors before he sit down to do his watch, affraid that the beasts would run away from them the same way he thought they ran from their previous owner.

The troll surveyed the horizon with a long, slow glance, trying to figure out some details through the darkness of the night.
"Its in times like this that I trully apreciate the lessons from the old shaman master..." - Shaargh thought to himself, as he began to see, or thinking he saw, some blurry lights crossing the horizon, moving near the mountains. He couldn't trust his eyes, despite trolls having a good nightvision, and so, he iniciated a short, basic shammanistic ritual that, as a young warrior in the making, he had learned in his tribe.

Shaargh closed his eyes, crossed his legs on each other and grabbed his knees. He then iniciated some sort of prayer, in a gutural and rude language, on a low voice, as a vague and green aura began to swirl around his body. He continued this process for only a few seconds but, sudenly, he stoped and opened wide his eyes.
Imediattly, the troll erased the few remainings from their fire and almost crawled trough the ground towards his fellows.
" Hey! Hey!! Wake up you two! There's something really wrong going on!Pick up your stuff! We got to leave! "

So that is why I am traveling to visit the cities of our allies and to get to know them better.

Lexar felt a nufge on his shoulder, grunting in disaproveal, he pulled the wolf skin over his head and tried to get back to sleep.

"Wake up you lazy Orc, we have to move now!"

The voice was harsh and wispered and sounded ergent. He ripped the wolf skin to one side and jumped to his feet, grabbing his axe that lay beside him.

"What? more Centars wish to die befor the dawn of the new day? let them come"

Lexar let out in a harsh menicing voice.

"Keep, your voice down, i dont think we have been spotted yet"

Lexar almost blushed in embarassment. COmeing to his senses and half dazed state, he whipped his bedding back into his rucksack. The others were already at the raptors and leading them off into the nearest bit of undergrowth they could see. Lexar followed soon after. Crouching down in the shrubery. All that could bee seen were a few Raptors mulling around in the under growth. To the casual observer, they were just a few hunters waiting for there prey.

One of the shadows within the undergrowth pointed and wispered something that Lexar didnt quite catch. But looking at where he had pointed, he could see lights, bobbing this way and that, ever comeing closer and ever growing in number. Who ever they were, there were alot of them.

Menicles had been sleeping lightly, so when Shaargh woke him up he was ready. He jumped up and began making sure that the harnesses on the raptors were ready to be untied for a quick getaway if the need should arise. The bobbing lights were coming closer. The group had packed up and brought all of their things to the raptors where Menicles helped them tie them onto them.

"Keep your voice down, I don't think we've been spotted yet" Menicles told Lexar as he began grumbling.

Menicles dug a small hole in the ground and put his hands in it. Then he began preparing spells, the ground above his hands blocking the arcane light from being seen. He had no idea what the light were and tried to get a better look at them. The lights seemed to float around as if they were held up on strings, or by some other magical means. They mesmerised Menicles and as he was trying to find out what they were doing he was knocked hard on the back of his head.

Lexar had been knocked over the back of the head. He guessed that it must have been a scout that had gone ahead of the main group. Still dazed, all Lexar could see were more lights. It had come apparent the the light itself was hostile. The ghostly figures that carried them, were nothing but shadows amoungst the bleak and utter darkness.

Lexar could here muttering, but was unsure of what it was. After he regained focus, he realised it was Menicles and Shaargh trying to devise an escape. Looking around him, Lezar realised that they were in the middle of a small hasty camp, no tents, just around 5 to 6 spaced out fires with blankets around them and lots of shadows darting abought.

It wasnt long befor a shadow made itself known, it was a rather short human, he bore a tabrad that Lexar recognised but couldnt quite remember where. The human looked at them with menacing dark eyes and took a bite from a leg of meat he had plucked fresh of the fire. Greese dribbled down his chin and onto his armor, befor skulking back into the shadows.

"Forgive him, he is always watchful of Horde, he belives that we will betray the Human kind and slay them in there sleep"

Shaargh N'gul was never known for having a good-temper. And if he found himself in a very unconfortable position, the case got even worse.
As soon as he heard the taureen speaking to Lexar, the red-haired troll exploded: " Forgive him!? Maybe you wouldn't say that if someone you dont even know had put you down with a blow on the head...OH, wait, that wouldn't happen, because you, big fat cow, have horns on it!! Now, you stinky traitor of the horde, let us go! I dont care about your business with the human scum! "

The Tauren didn't seem very happy about what Shaargh said...specialy the cow part. Teahh Swifthoof approached the troll with a couple of very heavy and large steps, his bovine eyes shinning in anger. He then lowered his head until his face was just some centimetres away from Shaargh's face. Behind the tauren, the human approached as well, with a not very peacefull look as well.

The Tauren snorted and begun to walk away.

"By the way, I am no traitor to the Horde, we of the Ahn'Qiraji War Effort have better things to do then fight weak pink skins."

With that the Tauren dissapeared into the darkness, they never saw him again, one friend amoungst many enemies, lost thanx to an ill tempered Troll that couldnt keep his big mouth shut.

"Stupid warriors, let me do this" He said

Then Menicles let off a small fireball, enough to set the ropes and some of his groupmates' hairs on fire.

"There we go, now where are those raptors?"

Menicles walked toward where he thought the raptors were and got on his. He didn't really mind that Shaargh had pushed those two off, the human had looked like killing them was all he wanted to do. No sense in having allies like that around.

He passed by Menicles without saying anything, mounted his raptor and bursted his way out of there, towards the crossroads.

Menicles heard Shaargh and Lexar arguing. He wondered why they were fighting while the real enemies were the centaur and quilboar. The Alliance could wait while this problem was solved

"GUYS!" Menicles yelled "WHO CARES WHAT THAT GROUP WAS DOING?" having gotten their attention he continued "If we argue now about the Alliance we will not make it to Crossroads in time. Look the sun is coming up, if we aren't in Crossroads by the end of today we will probably be too late. I have had enough of this fighting, lets just go."

Not even caring whether or not the others were following Menicles pressed on. He raced his raptor as fast as he had ever gone before. By lunch Menicles could see the smoke of Crossroads in the distance, so he pressed even harder trying to make it all the was there.

It was a glorious day, with the sun high in the sky and not a cloud in sight. It was the kind of day that nothing should happen on. The kind of day where everyone is too sleepy to really use much effort. Menicles strained forward and realized that it was the perfect day for an assault on a sleepy city.
