Leather kit question

Hi,

This is probably a dumb question (sorry - I'm new to WOW).

I have been using leather kit on my Hunter, but I now have an alt that I am playing in a group with some of my friends. Can leather kit be added to all armour types, or must the character have the leather skill to use it?

Yup, hence why some folks sell the kits on the AH as well. Nets folks some coin, and others some AC increase.

Yup, all armour. And it's not that weird. It's logical that a cloth shirt with some leather pads on it has more AC than an ordinary cloth shirt, isn't it?
