<br><br><p>It was*bound to happen and it's really good news for Mac gamers. Apple has announced their new Boot Camp dual boot system which will enable Intel based Mac owners to choose between running Windows XP or OS X on boot. This means Mac users with these systems will be able to run Windows XP apps, including games, on their system and still have OSX on-hand for every day use. </p><p>Requirements to utilise the system as mentioned on the <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4880022.stm"><strong><font color="#550404">BBC</font></strong></a> site are an Intel-based Mac, OSX version 10.4.6 or later, latest firmware updates, 10GB of hard disk space, blank recordable CD or DVD and a single disc edition of Windows XP Home or Professional.*A step by step guide on how to get up and running has also been created to make it nice and easy.</p><p>Philip Schiller, Apple senior vice president of worldwide product marketing commented today: </p><blockquote dir="ltr" style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px"><p>"Apple has no desire or plan to sell or support Windows, but many customers have expressed their interest to run Windows on Apple's superior hardware now that we use Intel processors."</p></blockquote><p dir="ltr">Blizzard has always supported the Mac, but who knows, that may change in the future so it's good to see this latest development from Apple.
