Used to, but self-employed now so very little free time. Still recording and playing tho'. Prog-metally type stuff.
Used to play most of the tracks from Ride the lightning in the band
Guitars: Ibanez RG [avatar], Westone Thunder1A [1981], Tanglewood Europa [1984], 4 Marlins [1980's] one converted to baritone tuning A-A, bass, Yamaha RGX420D6 [Baritone], Talman Semi, etc etc.
Amps: Peavey Bandit 75 [1980, and damn loud], Peavey Rage 125[practise]
FX: Boss GT-8, Zoom 323 drum machine.
PA Behringer Actives, no amp used live, go from GT-8 to stereo PA.
I love vintage gear.

I reckon ...And Justice for all, is 'tallica's best album. DYERS EVE!

Everyone says MOP (i used to), but then i started thinking about my decision, and realized what an insanely good album justice is, every single song is so technical and well done, ITS INSANE!
its like this:
1. ...And justice for all
2. Master of Puppets
3. Ride the lightning
thats my top 3

i play violiin. I guess that isnt really considered a 'heavy' instrument, but a lot of new age bands have used electric violin and have done an incredible job with it. i. e. Yellowcard... anyone else here play violin or electric violin?

I play guitar and piano, but have mostly fiddled around with home-studio composing and software synthesizers / samplers.
Actually I have composed some orchestral fantasy soundtrack music, mainly for pen & paper roleplaying game sessions. Quite a few people have found the soundscapes so enjoyable that they have imported them for example into Oblivion music folder so that the tunes can be played ingame. The soundscapes could fit quite well into WoW also, feel free to check out the project:

Bass, guitar, banjo, keyboards (in that order really).
Play in an extreme metal band.
