Iam Goblin engineer but need to be gnomish engineer.

Is that possible?

must I drop engineer and start over or can I only drop goblin engineer and start direct on gnomish?

Read on the patch note:

Players that unlearn Engineering or Leatherworking may now respecialize if they decide to relearn the professions.

Woremo, it used to be that you couldn't switch even when you relearn the profession, but that is changed now, and that is what that last bit says. I'm sorry to say that you have to relearn the entire profession if you want to switch.

And fred, is it possible to try and be a little more clear? I have no idea what you just tried to say there. English is not my native language either, but I strongly doubt that sentence was the result of not being fluent with English.

I'm pretty sure that means you drop Engineering, skill it up to 225 again, and make the choice again.

EDIT: Gah, you beat me!:undecided:

"I don't know. I saw something about that as well, but I haven't tried it. I think you are still stuck with the same specialisation in blacksmithing though."

Really man. Sentences. Punctuation. Spelling! We don't want to have to translate every post you make.

To answer OP's question, yes you have to drop eng then start again from 1/300 (or 1/315).
