Im not really sure if this is a technical issue but its extremely annoyed me ok so here i go my mum *WILL NOT* pay buy credit card it could take me months to blag her into it she will only use her paypal account so i was wondering does any one know if or how long till paypal is available? also if i use them gamecards you can buy from shops why isnt the game card option available when creating an accout because on step 4 and 5 it wants your credit card payment and details so without paypal or gamecard there i wasted £30 (england currency) on this game!!

ok now onto pc: i have a Microsoft windows xp home editon 2002/ it is AMD 2500+ sempron 1.67 ghz 800mhz but only 192 mb ram (gettin more as well as whole new upgrade this yr) also i have heaps of memory gb stuff.

My graphics cards etc are SiS there installed utility tray crap -.- but there ok not best ever (gettin them upgraded as well top make ones =D

Thank You!!

With that amount of RAM, WoW will likely kill your machine on the first boot up, if not on the install.

If you do manage to play on that, you will have significant lag ...more like death by lag.

At a minimum you need atleast 512MB of RAM, though 1Gig and up are recommended.

Gorny did the techy stuff, I'll answer this bit.

The credit card is there to verify that you're of legal age to open an account. I vaguely recall, so it's far from 100%, about debit card info also being accepted. And that this as well is seen as a sign that you're of legal age to create an account. But like I said, I'm not 100% on that bit.

Paypal?? They've been saying that since before Open Beta, I wouldn't hold my breath.

That should about cover it.

That would be Windows XP doing that. Part of the programming, so it can run, "efficiently". Vista will be even worse with a gobbling of 256MB Ram.

Just keep in mind, in WoW RAM is pretty much king. The more you got, the smoother the ride.

512mb will work decently but when it comes to upgrade time, aim for 1gb +.

I'm down to 512 at the moment since one of my sticks broke and I can still play the game. Now that one's broken, it's a good enough reason for me to upgrade, 2GB this time, and all for less than £100 hopefully.
